Let's welcome Apostle Stephanie Ekafa. Hallelujah. >> Come on, let's lift up a praise to Jesus. >> Amen. You know, I I really I just have this love for Wbeck because even last year there was so much that the Lord was doing not just that what the Lord is doing through his ministers but also in them. And even this year the same thing and I'm speaking also for myself you know because there were many things that it's so funny how God works sometimes. There were things that the Lord was showing me in to study as I was coming to Wbeck and as I'm here every every note every single day he says throw it away and so today I was like Lord but this message this is wow this blessed me and he says throw it away and I believe why he said it is actually So powerful to end this session with this message. what he literally gave me few minutes as I was arriving and he says that is what I want you to share with the people because even when we go back to the theme thy kingdom come thy will be done how is the will of God going to be executed how will his kingdom advance through you if you don't trust him and the Lord gave me this very simple phrase And he says,"Tell my people to trust me." And we're going to dig into this scripture that he began to just minister to my heart. And there's so much I will share as a result from this. But heavenly father, we thank you. Lord Jesus, we worship you. We acknowledge that you are in this place. We acknowledge that you are mindful of your people. You see each and every one of them as though they were the only ones in the world. You are deeply in love with your people. And I pray, oh heavenly father, that first and foremost they would know that they are loved by God. that even when men or women fail them, even for some who have been abandoned even by parents, that they would know that they are loved by you. They are known by you. They are seen by you and by you, Lord, they can be stopped. And so I thank you and I thank you Lord that you will begin to just renew their minds in such a powerful way that every seed of unbelief that has been planted that Lord you would uproot it with this word. And I thank you that they would come to a place of trust that would almost feel supernatural. I thank you Holy Spirit because one of the ways you manifest yourself is through faith. There is a faith that goes beyond even ours that can come upon a person to believe that which seems so absurd. And I thank you that that will come upon your children tonight. >> Heavenly Father, thank you. >> Glorify your name in this place. Amen. Amen. You may be seated. I want us to get into the book of John and we're going to look at John chapter 6. And I love this story and what was recorded, you know, one of the miracles of Jesus because you will find this very miracle in every of the gospels. Each gospel giving some unique details to what happened. But I'm going to be reading it and just sharing as the Lord leads when it comes to trusting the Lord. You see now start from verse two. It says, "And a loud crowd was following him because they saw the signs that he was doing on the sick. Jesus went up on the mountain and there he sat down with his disciples. Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews was at hand. Lifting up his eyes then and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philillip, I love this part so much. Where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat? And he said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. I'll pause right there and we'll come back. You see, he starts off by saying, "A large crowd is following Jesus because they were aware of how he has healed the sick. You see, so often what draws us to the Lord are the stories we've heard through other people. When a person begins to share their testimony, we're like, "Wait, and all of this happened because you obeyed." Now, ultimately, what really brings us into the family of God really starts with the whole miracle of salvation in itself. When you are saved, that in itself is supernatural because you started off in a path of darkness. And when the Holy Spirit began to reveal Jesus to you, you responded with a yes. You responded by yielding your life to him. But then what allows us some often times to you know many times when we're fasting we're praying and I always tell people this you have to learn how to fast not even just for material things or not even for just you know the things that seem like okay there's no issue with it right there's no problem with fasting and praying for marriage there's no problem with fasting and praying for increase none of that but you need to learn how to balance it out with also going in seasons of fasting and praying prayer when it concerns his presence, when it concerns growing in the knowledge of him, when it concerns things about Lord, just reveal to me what is it you desire for my life, right? So, it's good to have it balanced. But let's not ignore the fact that many of us when you hear testimonies from other people and they share some remarkable things about Jesus and you're like, "Wow, Lord, you can do the same for me." And so there are times that our intensity and our passion in following him is because of what we are believing that Lord if you did it for this person I believe you can do it for me and the Lord cares about those things because there are certain things that are also connected to you being the fullness of who you truly are and so I'm sharing this because sometimes you know you might feel as though like okay existing I'm believing for. I should just downplay it. There's nothing that would ever be too big or too small in the eyes of the Lord. And so the people are following him. And yes, Jesus begins to heal. When you read this story in other of the gospels, you will see that the Bible will talk about how Jesus looked at them and had compassion on them. And from that compassion, he began to heal them. So what they had heard and what they had seen Jesus do for others, it began to happen for them. So there is already a miracle that is taking place to the multitudes. Now I will catch you up and but then we're going to read a little bit more. But this is the story about when Jesus feeds 5,000. And often times when we read this scripture or when we hear about this scripture, the focus is on the 5000 that the miracle was in Jesus feeding the 5,000. Now I'm going to take a little bit of a shift here because I do believe that itself was a huge miracle. But I think for the 5,000 people, their miracle was the fact that he healed them. Because they did not come to Jesus because they were hungry. That was not the miracle they were looking for. They came to Jesus because they wanted him to heal the sick amongst them. They wanted to hear his teachings, not because they were looking for physical food. There are layers of miracles in this scripture and the 5000. What the Holy Spirit began to show me that the Lord wanted me to minister was not so much about the people that were fed as it was about the disciples who participated in the miracle. Because as we're going to continue in chapter um I believe this would be chapter six I mean verse six rather because right before this Jesus is asking one of the disciples let me even go to verse five where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat but it was a test because he's waiting to see his response have you learned anything so far from being with me because if you have been so sensitive to your time with me that when you see the multitudes gather and we recognize that they have been with us for quite a while and they're going to get hungry that it is not going to be the issue is not let us send them away but rather it is to come before the Lord in trust to say Lord how May we feed them? You see, there are times that the Lord will instruct you to do something and the instruction of what he's asking you to do, it has a question inside of it. When the Lord begins to tell you, I'm preparing you to go to the nations, you don't even have a passport. So, in him telling you, I'm preparing you to go to the nations, is the question, how are you going to go to the nations? And so often we hear that question before we hear, "I'm preparing you to go to the nations." The problem is that we try to respond to the Lord in our flesh. And this is where delay and disobedience comes in. And this is when we begin to compromise what he's actually required for us to do. And so when the Lord begins to tell us a word, give us an instruction, it's not that we start to, you know, strategize or think about it from a fleshly perspective of, okay, how do I do this? Maybe let me call this uncle or let me call this auntie, let me call this person. No. The fact that you are trying to create a solution for something that was first supernatural is a problem. When God is the one telling you about your future, the way to that future being revealed is not through your own strategy. It is to go back to the one who spoke it to you with expectation and knowing it will happen to then say, "Lord, how do we go about this? It's not that the Lord starts to tell you because you see throughout this conference there's been a lot of things that the Lord has been doing and moving and there are anointings that have been coming upon people but then if you don't move in obedience then you can cause something in your life that has the potential to lift you up and it just becomes stale because the anointing doesn't just come upon you in a in a in a ministration just so that We can say God met us here. It is to activate you to do something. But if you start to doubt the God that is with you, then the enemy can creep in and cause unbelief in your heart and you do nothing and you're just known as the one who was touched, not the one who went. And so Jesus is asking the disciple, where are we to buy bread when he knows what he is about to do? And so in verse six, he said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. Verse seven, Philillip answered him. He filled the test right here. 200 diner worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, "There is a boy here who has five barely loaves and two fish. But what are they for so many?" Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down about 5,000 in number. Jesus then took the loaves and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish as much as they wanted. And when they had eaten their full, he told his disciples, "Gather up the leftover fragments that nothing may be lost." Now, when the scripture is talking about that Jesus distributed them, it was not him that did it. He gave it to his disciples and then the disciples did the distribution. That is a miracle we often ignore because it was not just the fact that Jesus Jesus knows what he has the ability to do. He knows he is superior over all things. But when he breaks the bread, he gives it to his disciples and the disciples now carry out the distribution to the people. If any of the disciples along that process said, "How can we take this and feed all this people?" Because we know what we gave you, Jesus. We gave you five loaves and two small fish and all you did was to break it into little pieces. You perhaps maybe he put one piece in a basket because clearly the scripture tells us that there were baskets present. So could it be that he put little pieces in a basket and covers it and gives to the disciples and say now you go share it and anytime the disciple put a hand in the basket bread began to come out. Every time they put their hand in the basket the breads began to multiply. You see whenever you see Jesus doing a thing in the scripture this is how God deals with us because he came to reveal God to us. He is God. The same way Jesus dealt with the disciples is a reflection of how God deals with you. Jesus is the one who is responsible for the miracle, but you are responsible for the distribution. And there are people that would never receive what is on the other side of that if you do not trust him. Every time the disciple will put his hand in a basket, it was trust that something will come out of this. Not once, not twice, not a thousand times, not 2,000 times, 3,000 times, 4,000 times. They kept going. And not only did it not did they not give people so much, they took those same baskets and gathered what remained. People ate to the full. You see, even in times like this, when a minister begins to move, yesterday there was such a powerful outbreak of the spirit of God in this place. But who is responsible for anointing people? Who is responsible for touching people? Jesus. But if I decided, if the Lord had shown me, as he did yesterday when he said, "He's showing me my daughter, there are people in this place that I want to activate into their calling, into their ordination." If I chose to say, "Lord, I don't know what that's going to look like. I rather just stick to the word and close it and go home." That could happen. And we would just end at amen and leave. So there is a responsibility I have for the distribution. I'm not the one that heals people. He does. But there is a responsibility I have to speak the word of healing so that it may be distributed to his people. This is how God deals with us. But if you don't trust the Lord, you will not be activated and step into the thing that he's called you to if you don't realize that the one who has sent you is faithful. And it's not about you trying to strategize or make it comfortable for yourself. It is to say, Lord, how should we go about this? Lord, this is what I have so far. What does it look like to step into what you've asked of me? You see, I'm someone who I rarely, and maybe I rarely share some of the things that the Lord would instruct me to do when it comes to giving. I only do when the Lord now shows me. And I want you to share this with the people because for some it would build your faith. When we were planning to when we were planning coming to Nigeria and while in prayer, the Lord began to just minister to my husband and I about things that we needed to do. And one of those things that the Lord said to me is that you're going to meet a man. And this young man, he has a desire, you know, just show things about his career that he wants to pursue, but he has no one to help him get through school. And I want you to take on that young man and cover his education. And I was like, "Okay, Lord, where would we meet this man?" He said, "You will know when you meet him." I was like, "Okay." So, there were things that my husband and I planned. And we're like, okay, well, you know, we just we prayed about everything and just trust in the Lord and how he would lead. Now, why am I sharing this? Because indeed, we've met this young man. He happened to be one of the drivers assigned to us. And we were in the car. We went to the other day. We went to um Dodo Pizza. Wow. I never knew plantain in pizza is quite a delight and yeah I it's really a treat you know and so I just got into conversation with this gentleman and I said what what what what do you do apart from what I see you doing what have you desired to do and he opened up about what he wants to to do. But he said, "But there there's no help. No one to help see it through." And immediately the spirit said, "That's him." So I hit my husband. I was like, "Oh my gosh, this," you know, I was like, "This is the person the Lord was telling us about." And so we shared with the young man, we're like, "Okay, how are your results? Have you applied?" He said, "Not yet." But we shared with him, "If you apply and you get in, we will cover your tuition. to see you through school. But now, here is why I'm sharing this. Because the Lord could have told this young man, I am going to raise you up in this field and I want you to get back into school. It is not the young man's job to start wondering, okay, do I apply? Do I do this because I don't have help? I don't have this. I don't have that. unknown to him. The Lord is already speaking to somebody else that you're going to meet someone. And I want you to do this because this individual's future would be very bright. Trust. Because if that young man had already applied, then this would have been much faster. Are you getting me? >> Do you see how sometimes we delay ourselves and we think it's God? We would often say, "Lord, I'm waiting on you." And the Lord says, "No, no, no, no, no. I'm waiting on you." Because it is not your place to know exactly how it's going to happen. IT IS JUST YOUR PLACE to obey. >> I have no knowledge of this man. I We don't have We're not even from the same tribe. So, it's not even like, "Oh, he's just my ebo brother." No. >> This is how God works. Because out of that man's career, many would be blessed. There is a distribution that would come out that would be that there's a harvest that would come out from his life that he would now be a blessing for his family and much more. What is it that the Lord has been speaking to you about? And are you trying to figure it out on your own and you're falling into depression because you don't know who is going to assist? You don't know who's going to help. You don't know where you're going to start. Or have you sought the Lord and taking steps in the path that he told you to? You see, you have to always understand this that often times the miracle you seek is in your obedience. It's not that the miracle happens and then you obey. There are times that maybe in God's mercy and the prayers that are on top that the prayers that has gone ahead of you, the people that have interceded on your behalf that he supersed, he he just goes beyond everything that says this thing must happen. But more often than that, if you don't respond to God with accurate obedience, you are delaying yourself. >> Not that you begin to compromise. No, no, no, no, no. There's no place for that. But with accurate obedience, doors begin to open up for you. The Lord was so specific about that young man that literally it was he told us an amount we should take out. Set it aside because when you meet this individual, you would know. Can we start living our lives as though we know that as I meet God in obedience, he would meet me along the way with provision. that as I meet the Lord with obedience to speak that which he he he desires of me, he would reveal and manifest himself. You see, I can speak from the place of as a minister because there are times that people would ask like, you know what, how is there something you see? Is there something you know? you know, when the spirit of God is about to break out in a place and often times it doesn't start by knowing or seeing anything, it starts by trusting what God told you and you yield in that moment and Jesus backs it up. He meets you in the place of obedience. There are some things you would never experience in God unless you walk out on faith. Tears will not bring you to the experience of it. Prayer is to activate you to step into it. So you can't just stay in the place of prayer and do nothing. That's hypocrisy. Because prayer is supposed to get you to a place where you are so in tune with the spirit of God that you are commissioned to do something. If I ever meet a person that tells me they're a prayer warrior, but I cannot see any track record of obedience in their life, you're a hypocrite. Because how are you so in tune with the voice of God and you have never stepped out the boat? >> So has that become your cave? Is not the place where you hide yourself. Jesus is in charge of the miracle, >> but you are in charge of the distribution. And when you begin to see this beautiful partnership that happens with the Lord, you'll start to move on things quicker. You see, but it doesn't just end there because there's things that the Lord wants to work in and through you. And something the Lord began to highlight to me in this scripture because you see prior to this there are many things that God would expose his people to his disciples to. Prior to this he had given them authority to cast out demons, authority over unclean spirits. and they come to him and they're testifying that look at what happened in your name. And the Lord began to highlight something else to me even when it comes to trusting because sometimes you can see a lot. You can experience so much with God. You can have a track record of God's faithfulness and yet still fall away. Because you know that when the Lord gathered the disciples and began to give them power over unclean spirits, guess who was also there? Judas. Judas who later the scripture would say and the devil entered him. Not that Satan himself entered him but it's literally speaking of a demonic influence had taken over him had taken over his heart. How is it that the one who would cast out demons would need one cast out of him? Because you see, with everything Jesus did, he's teaching us how God deals with us. And I'm sharing this because it is not enough just for you to say that I'm walking in obedience in one area, but God is after your trust in all areas of your life. Not just in the thing he has revealed to you is your ordination. Not just in your career, not just in your relationships, but in who you are as his child. What nature do you reflect? Whose kingdom culture do you embody? You see why this is so significant when we talk about trust even from a broader perspective. Because when the Lord began to open my eye over this nation, Nigeria, and he began to show me that there is a spirit that the the spirit that is ruling, the principality that is ruling over this nation is one of defilements. A lot of the corruption, manipulation, and all of that comes from that spirit of defilement. And what does it mean for something to be defiled? that what was initially purposed to be set apart for the Lord, something that was supposed to be consecrated for the Lord, has now been compromised in a way that it is unfit to be used any longer. Now, here's why I share this. Because whenever you are, wherever you live, whatever territory you're in, there is something that rules over the people that everybody acts like that spirit. And the only way you break out and truly rise as the person God has called you to be is to have nothing. You see, Jesus would say, "Satan comes to me and finds nothing in me. If you are going to be used so masterfully by God, then what rules over your territory can find nothing in you. Now, here's why that can be difficult. Because it has found its way into the systems. It has found its way into the culture. It finds its way into the way of life. And so corruption, what is so clearly defined as corruption for another person is this is just how we are. This is just the Nigerian way. But is it the kingdom way? And so there are things that you would have to reject. There are things that you would have to say no to even though everyone else does it. then there's nothing wrong in the eyes of the people. But you have to know that I trust Jesus more than I trust the system. If this is how everyone else gets ahead, I would not get ahead this way. I would rather be in what will look like me being behind if I am right with Christ. If you trust him even to that degree, you will see how he will lift you up. You see, it is this level of defilement that has also creeped into churches. And that is why the fear of the Lord. Even though Nigeria is supposed to be a nation that teaches the world what it means to be on fire for God. The enemy brings this same spirit of defilement to weaken our authority because of the compromise. People begin to compromise for gain. People begin to compromise for the lust of the flesh. There are things that it should never be said of a minister. Yet it becomes a way. And we don't realize this is what is affecting what was the prophetic assignment of this nation and its people. But if you are going to trust God, there is a way of life that seems right to men. And the scripture says that in the end is destruction. You cannot follow the way that seems right to men if it goes against your word. You see, similar, I live in Los Angeles, and I remember when the Lord began to show me what rules over that territory. And when the Lord said, "If you're going to be effective in this city as a minister, you must say what I tell you to say." Because where the enemy has had an upper hand on people is that he has bound their mouth. There are certain things they would never say. And why is that? Because in order to confront the principalities of that region, you're going to say things that goes against the culture. Do you know what it means to talk a speak against homosexuality in America when it has become a way? But the Lord says, "Whatever I tell you to speak, you will speak it and you will trust me and I will use it." it. And I have seen so many people who thought that that was who they were called to be be set free from that spirit. And I'm just using this as an example. Now, in this nation, there is that which seems right to men, but you are going to have to trust God above it. There are things, you know, this this is manipulation. If I'm going to get ad, you know, get above or or get elevated, there are things you would have to lie about. Don't do it. Trust God beyond your own strategy. >> That you need a little bit here, you need a little bit there. you just, you know, add numbers that don't even make sense and tell someone this is your bill. Don't do it. Trust God beyond your need. That if you're going to lie, cheat, and steal to get by, trust God beyond it. Say, "Lord, I trust you more than my hunger." And you will see how the Lord will begin to lift you up. And why is this so critical? Because if the enemy can find something in you, it automatically limits what God can do through you. So if it's if what is reigning over the territory sees you as one of them, then how can you rise above it? You see, the Lord has been showing me this whole time that he wants to raise men and women up in ways that will go beyond what they have ever believed about themselves. >> But you would not be able to do it in your own strength, not with your own strategy, not with your relationships, not with your resources. You're going to have to do it with full dependency on Jesus. Jesus, what are you saying about this? How should I go about this? How should I tackle this? What should I do? And whatever he instructs you to do, the miracle will be in your obedience. Thank you, Lord. Wow. It's something I see the Lord wanting to do for a minute. Just pray. Pray in the spirit. bless. Thank you Lord. Just rise to your feet. You see, we cannot have a conference like thy kingdom come and you don't leave with power. Thank you, Jesus. The Lord is here. Thank you, Jesus. In a few moments, the Lord is going to begin to touch some of you. Wow. And I want to describe what is going to happen for what you are called to do. You need to know that you have been given authority that there is a power that has come upon you. You see power is not just for ministry. You need power in the marketplace. You need power in business. You need power in the political field. Because there is nothing on this earth, there is no system, there is no industry that is not empowered by a kingdom. And if it's not the kingdom of heaven, if it's not the kingdom of God, it is the kingdom of darkness. There are companies, what we call them in America as Fortune 500 companies. These are companies worth millions or billions of dollars. And some of those companies, there are CEOs that consult mediums. They consult deities for the strategy of their business. You thought you were just drinking coffee and it was more than that. >> You thought you were just going to a restaurant. It was more than that. That what is engineered behind those businesses are spirits that is helping them to sustain. What more of you in the kingdom of God when you are building with a kingdom perspective and mentality? I remember one time I was in a state to go preach and this was in the United States and so we were in a hotel and we were hungry. We were craving some food or whatnot and we're going through this mo the mobile app to order something and we find this restaurant. It has a lot of amazing reviews and so I was about to order food from there. The Holy Spirit said, "Not that one." And I'm like, "Okay, Lord, I'm I'm intrigued. Why do you care about which restaurant?" He said, "Not that one." He said, "This is not just about food. What they sell there is more than food." So I tell my husband and I said, "I really want to know if there is something that would be visible for what the Holy Spirit is showing me." So I re look up the website. I mean, look up the restaurant on this app called Yelp, which will show you, you know, different like the interiors and exteriors of restaurants. So, I look it up and there's photos and I go inside the restaurant. As you as you come in the restaurant, there is a whole deity right there and an altar presented for it. And on the altar was food presented to their god. But so are you feeding the God or you're feeding the people? Why must this be present in a restaurant to feed people? Where their source is coming from? I remember eating a meal and then I was a bit naive. I ordered some food again. Food, you know, maybe I just need to fast more. I ordered some food and the Lord says, "Don't eat this meal." I said, "Lord, do you smell this? You should have told me before I bought it." And I tried to do the wise thing, bless it. Now, the one telling me to not eat it, I'm saying, "Lord, just bless this food that I'm about to consume." Amen. And I ate it. Terrible decision. And as I ate that meal, later on I go take a nap and I was awakened by this halfh human, half fish creature in my room. And I immediately rebuked it and I said, "God," I got up. I was even upset and I said Lord how dare such spirit come into my room. He said I told you don't eat the food my disobedience and there was something about that food that opened the door. I'm not telling you what was a vision. No, a halfh human, half fish creature shows up in my room to try to threaten me. And immediately after rebuking it, I I forgot about the food until the spirit reminded me, I told you to not eat that. He said some things it's not just food they're selling because what is servicing their success would also want to collect. I'm not saying this so you panic about where you go eat. I'm saying be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and also realize that the power we need in this life is not just for those who are called to preach. >> If you're in the entertainment field, you need power >> because the enemy will constantly want to use you to reflect his kingdom. Sing songs that reflect his kingdom. Act movies that reflect their nature. You need power for wherever you're going. You need authority over unclean spirits wherever you're going. And the truth of the matter is that we have this in Christ Jesus. and he is the one that wants to touch you because there would be an increase. You see there there are times where there's something specific the Lord will begin to give you. H how do I'm I'm trying to explain what is about to happen because the authority you have in Jesus is something that you have to come into knowledge of. And how you do that is you you grow into the knowledge of it because in this kingdom you can only have the ability to use that which you have come to know by revelation. >> So what you don't know by revelation you have no access to. >> So there are times that the Lord would go out of his way beyond what he has given you. But then he anoints you with a level of power. And what is mixed in that is a boldness. It is faith. It is the workings of miracles because these are the manifestations of his holy spirit. And all of a sudden, you have been the same person, but you will show up as a different version that is backed up by the Lord's authority. If you would trust him, there are things you're going to begin to walk in. There are things that would be activated in you that when you're going to meetings, you're not just going to a meeting to secure, you know, a contract for your feeding. You're going to the meeting to secure something for the kingdom. >> He said, "No, this is about advancing. I am about my father's business. There is a different level of boldness you would have because you're not scared to lose something. >> You see, often times we walk into opportunities acting like servants because we have placed the person above our Lord. So there are things that we would want to try to negotiate that we don't negotiate because we're more scared of losing the deal than representing him. And you don't realize if I focus on representing Christ that already belongs to him. Thank you Lord. Just begin to pray. Thank you Lord. Lord Jesus, you said you want to touch your people tonight. And for those that have come before you, trusting and believing, Lord, let thy kingdom come. Let your power begin to fall upon them. Anoint them with power. >> Anoint them with power for what you have called them to do. It's coming. for libra. Thank you Lord. just for a moment. If you can, I always say this, just close your eyes because so often we focus on other people that we get distracted about what God wants to do. And just for a moment, just the keys. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Just stay in a place of expectation. There are some of you and your words have literally been, "Lord, anoint me with power. Lord, anoint me with power. The spirit of the Lord is moving. I see a medical doctor that the Lord is about to anoint you with power. That it would not just be about what you learned in school, but he would anoint your hands to heal. Holy Spirit, locate that doctor. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Lord for those in the medical field, for those in the creative field, for those in ministry, for those in business, for those in catering, I even see those in the makeup field.
