Good morning and welcome back to Rud Bible Study daily devotional. Today's verse comes from Luke 2:32. A life of revelation to the Gentiles. And the glory of your people Israel. Simeon makes it clear. Jesus doesn't come only for Israel. He came for the Gentiles, too. Light reveals what once was hidden. And Jesus reveals God's salvation to the whole world. No one is excluded. No one is too far gone. Jesus came for everyone. Isaiah 49:6 says, "I will make you a light for the nations that my salvation may reach the ends of the earth." And Galatians 3 28 says there is neither Jew nor Gentile for you all are one in Christ Jesus. This is the heart of the gospel. Open wide and welcoming. Take this with you today. Jesus is light for every person and he sends us to reflect that light. Don't forget that. Let's pray. And Jesus, thank you for being the light of the world. And help us reflect your light with love and truth today. Help us be that reflection of the work you've done in our lives. Lord, help us not forget, Father God, that you are shining through us, Lord. Use our lives to point others to you, Lord. In Jesus's name we pray. Amen. Amen. And amen. Thank you so much for listening and I'll meet you back here next time.
