Let me read it. I did read some of Where's my phone gone? I did read um some of them to you guys. Some guy asked to lick my feet. >> What? >> I was like, "God damn." >> I think one thing that we saw on your Tik Tok and stuff was the Love Island offers. >> And it was like um ex Naked Attraction star and I was naked Attraction, you know what I mean? Like what's going on here? I didn't realize people actually go like fully nude online and >> so if a boy does actually say to you, "Hi bitty, how you doing?" and he's good-looking, would you reply? >> No. >> Let's do toxic or truthful is it >> red flag, green flag. Uh first one, men who say I'm not like other guys, you have built that foundation. So you know what? >> It's you. >> I like it. >> What's that? You're not saying that under a rock. What's that? >> It's like, get it, girl. >> What? Clack it. >> Clack it. >> What? >> Go, girl. >> Why are you laughing? >> You're so immature, bro. >> Anyway, sorry. >> No, but no, no, tell me why you're laughing. No, tell me why you're laughing. >> Welcome back, guys, to another episode of Between Cultures Podcast with me, Diamond, >> me, Arlan, >> and special guest today, >> Billy. Yay. Who are you? >> Um, Viddy Rose of social media knows me. >> Your stuff is wicked, honestly. >> And before we get into this, a big shout out to Copper Club, the home of the Between Cultures podcast. You know where we always are. This is where we film. So, big shout out to Copper Club. >> Big shout out. Big shout. >> Their drinks are great. >> We mixed it up a little bit today. We mixed it up a little bit. Vidy, >> hello. >> Lovely to have you here. Lovely to have you here. >> I'm grateful to be here. >> Thank you very See This is how it's done. Um, tell us a bit about yourself. >> Just an ordinary girl that started posting on social media. Like, I'm not going to sit here and lie. Um, I did just start posting on social media, especially throughout like the lockdown period. >> Um, let's just say it wasn't a good mental time. Maybe not just I don't even think it was just for me. It was like that for a lot of people. >> Yeah. We've had that as we >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. I was transitioning schools as well cuz I went from a private school to a state school. Oh wow. >> Two very different worlds. >> Yeah. Yeah, for sure. >> How was that? >> Hard. >> It was hard cuz imagine >> between cultures quite literally because I was in a school that was I was the only Asian kid. >> Okay. >> In a private school with very very privileged families. And then I've gone to a completely different school which is a state school. There's still very privileged people in there >> but they are very different. Now I was out of touch with my culture, my religion. like I couldn't speak any Punjabi. I didn't understand anything. Now I do. >> So wait, did you at home before this did you speak Punjabi at all or was it more >> understand it but it was mainly just English? Like granny and granddad would talk to me. >> See the fact that you said granny and granddad. >> Okay. >> Okay. Diaba >> would speak to me in English. But like if they were angry, you know, you'd hear the the slip out. >> So I don't know. It was a bit of a weird one. That was definitely where I was posting it because I knew a lot of people would probably resonate with what I was going for at that time. >> Um, and that's actually how my first Tik Tok did really well. And then my second Tik Tok is where I then got 1,000 followers. >> Oh, wait. You went got 1,000 followers off of two little >> off two videos. My second one got like 40k, I want to say. >> Oh, wow. And especially like we're probably considering this is like what what year? Like >> 2020. >> Yeah. So this is like before like people are really like coming on the scene especially in like the Asian sort of scene on going onto Tik Tok. So you're like a minority on there. Like obviously more people post there now. So that's mad. >> So I created a new I created a new Tik Tok account cuz I was being bullied in secondary school. I'd always be I'd always get called contacts or Tik Tok or the Ascot girl. contacts Tik Tok >> cuz I came with my natural eyes today to kind of show like this is who I am naturally. >> But where's the contact bit come from? I don't >> because I have gray eyes on camera on camera like my Instagram post. I actually can't see. So I don't have clear contacts in right now. My glasses are in the car. >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> Wait, you can get contacts with different um >> Of course you can. >> Should I show you? Did you not know? >> Nah, not at all. >> My eyes are gray in like most of my photos and I do this. >> No, I never knew that. What? You can get contacts with >> You can get red, >> bro. I might as well do blue. >> You can. >> I've always wanted blue eyes. >> Use code V for 20% off. >> There you go. >> No, look. My eyes are like my eyes are gray. >> I didn't actually record that. That's mad. >> So, everyone thinks like I'm mixed race or something. And you know what? I'll take it. >> So, what was it like? Obviously coming from an Asian family then. What was it like going on social media? Your first, let's say, viral sort of moments. How was that? My brothers never believed in me. >> Mhm. >> And it's such a nice slap in the face. >> Oh, what? They said that this was like a waste of time sort of thing. Or was it more that >> No, my brothers have always been really supportive. I love I love all of them so much. >> And how many do you have? >> I've got one real one and then all of my like cousins I consider like actual brothers cuz I grew up with them. >> Okay. >> So I I don't see any difference. There's about a total of about >> four close ones. >> Yeah. >> And then probably like 20 otherwise. >> That's just in this area. Not even like back home. >> No, no, I'm talking like international. So, one of my closest cousins, you wouldn't believe me if I told you, my cousin's Ginger. >> Both my cousins are Ginger. Like, he looks like a gora. And he went viral on Tik Tok. His first video got 40K likes and I was like, "Yeah, >> sick. >> Get it, boy." But that's cuz he looks white and Ginger playing the dawn. >> Yeah. >> Oh, that is sick. >> That's sick. That is sick. >> So, he does not look Indian at all. Um, but he moved to America, so it's like my brothers are slowly going away. Yeah, >> it's it's not that's very small though. I'll be honest with you. Just in like the local area with my family, cousins wise, there's probably >> 25 26 just locally and we've got another like 15 back home >> barely. >> You know what it is? I like first cousins. Yeah, I know. Second cousins kind of. Anyone else? Yeah. You're just a cousin, man. >> Yeah. You see just a cousin. >> You see him at like a family function, you're like, "Yeah, I remember you." Yeah. And you're like, you don't have you haven't got a clue who they the weddings. It's like, "Who's that?" It's I remember when you were like this big. You're like, "I don't even remember who you are." >> There's too many people. >> I remember it's like it's always I held you when you were baby. And whole ass my reply now is I didn't know who I was when I was baby. >> That's quite funny. So, what was it like when you first jumped onto social media then? Like familywise then? >> Did they like you? >> Mom and dad like mom and dad didn't really say much because like they were like, "Oh, like she's just a little kid. She's just posting for fun." Like obviously mom was logged in to my Instagram and Tik Tok up until like 2 years ago. >> I only took mom and dad off 2 years ago. >> So they would see like some of the creepy DMs and stuff I got. But that's also because I'm 20 right now. I was literally freshly 18 when I logged them out. They were still logged in for my safety. >> Mhm. >> I think that's good though. I think that's good. >> So even though mom probably wouldn't check it, it was still on her phone. >> Yeah. >> Um so I had her logged in. I think Sh just logged out recently as well. Like cuz she can log in whenever she wants but like I'm not doing anything. I rate that though because that shows like that sort of internal trust between them. They know that it's just more of like a safety mechanism rather than they're thinking you're doing some sort of madness on there. >> It's nice to double check though as well cuz thing is like you >> are still young. You are still young and you were younger before then and let's be honest you're the way you could react to that might be very different and it could be like a a grownup so to speak be like look it's normal. >> You know what it is? Like I'd much rather just be open with them because I'm not going to lie. I used to lie to them about a lot. They know that now. So, it's fine if I say that. >> Um, >> yeah. No, I'd much rather keep the trust with mom and dad there because now if I, I don't know, be in a relationship or I'm going on holiday, >> they know what I'm doing. They know where I am. My brother has my location. >> Trust is a very big thing. >> Yeah. >> Trust. And I don't know what it is about like us as I think Asians especially, but obviously it happens to everyone. It's like >> you're scared to tell them you're doing this, >> but they obviously want to know just so they know you're safe. And that is the reality of it. Obviously, if it's like you're going on benders all the time or doing a madness and there's a certain element of look, you shouldn't be doing that. >> But the main thing is they just care about you >> 100%. >> And we just don't >> open up as much. >> What would you say your guys' parents were like when you were growing up? Because I feel like for for girls and for guys it is two very different things. Mine I would say is that as like a boy I think naturally as an Asian you see that you get given a lot more freedom. I think it's very natural Asian parents they will sort of keep like the girls are sort of more not locked in the house but they sort of have less sort of complete freedom. Yeah. Whereas like boys you're sort of let out a lot earlier but mine was a bit different because my parents sort of ran businesses throughout our whole life. So they never had jobs. So, it's a bit strange because I think that's probably why I work seven days a week is because it's the norm. Like my parents never we never went on like family holidays or like vacations or like stuff like that. So like >> savings. >> Yeah. So for like us it was just it's just natural like I just saw them grow for like a very long time. What about you? >> You know it's interesting you said that and I see that with a lot of my friends like whether guys like oh or you can do whatever you want. With me I think I was more like the experimental child. Like my parents love me. I'm definitely a mama's boy. 100%. Mom knows this as well. Mom, you're watching this. >> Mama's boys can be a little bit interesting. >> No, no, no. Honestly, it's it's it's I think I I'm the good kind. I think there's probably one or two% of those. >> But um yeah, bro, it's like for me when I used to go out going to town, etc. It'll be college. Yeah. Literally college. >> Then my sister below it was year 11 and then cuz I've got three sisters. Slowly slowly slowly like the youngest sister of my bro she'd be going to town when she was like 14. I'm like >> what's this about? >> I feel like that is the thing with older siblings though because what my brother could do when he was my age I was doing a lot sooner. My brother never threw a house party. I promise you at my grandparents house not my house my grandparents house I threw at least 10. >> There you go. Look. See >> I would have got beats. There is no way I would have been able to throw a sort of a house party at my grandma's house. >> No chance. No chance. The beats. You know what what they say about like you're getting deported. >> But you know what the funny thing is? And I don't want to go too off topic. My grandma probably was like one of those people like so she used to have a thing. Yeah. When we used to go out sort of with our mates. Yeah. And if anyone would phone in and be like let's say if my parents are out they like oh where's Diamond? Oh Den was her number one saying. And my mom like it's 12:00 he's still going to get milk. So she would she knows what's going on but she would always >> Yeah. My grandma was like yeah she was a legend. >> Bless her bro. Bless her. So yeah, now that like yeah. So what about like obviously that's the whole social media side. So what you do for sort of work and sort of your dayto-day >> um so Monday, Wednesday, Friday I'm in an office. I work with cars. So randomly if you see me posted up in a Rolls-Royce driving my two bosses is completely normal. At this point I like my Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday I am always modeling. >> Oh nice. So whether that be modeling or content, a lot of people know me as a mixed real girl. Very unfortunate. Um but definitely I would say that skyrocketed my content because right after that we generated over a fair few million views across those six or seven pubs. >> Wicked. >> So a lot of people would see my face and I got known as Vidy Rose the mixed grill. And that was a search bar on flipping Tik Tok. That was a search on Tik Tok and my face was plastered and I was like there is actually no way to the point I got recognized in Marrakesh on holiday. Not once, twice. >> Twice as a mixed real girl. Even I went to Rosies. Oh, so what's the what's the best pub to get a mixie from? I'm out in a club. I'm holding my drink and you think this is the time to ask me. >> That's mad. >> Um, but yeah, I definitely say as much as I hate being known for it, do you get paid to eat? Yeah. >> Do you actually get paid to eat? Do you get paid to enjoy food? >> And I think the funniest thing is I think we've even realized this is like all publicity is good publicity. You're going to have certain people that are going to somewhat try to take the out of you for it. But it's exactly like you're saying, you're getting paid to do that. you're by them commenting on your profile and essentially taking the >> you're engaging with my engaging that post like just goes further and further like I don't know there was one recently where I remember it like I said something a bit controversial. Yeah. Obviously I say a bit of dumb and it was on like a couple of K at night. Yeah. So it wasn't doing that well and then all of a sudden I wake up in the morning it was at like 60k on Tik Tok because the comments just went berserk of people basically taking the out of me and me in the morning just replying God bless you. God bless you. just agonizing them just like cuz I'm like >> no but here's the thing like even after all of the mixed real stuff I've ended so then my comments changed to this girl does everything because then I did cars I did property I did events I did flowers you name it I have probably done it I've done bars I've become a bartender even though I was a bartender back in my day you see what I mean so yeah I got the hate but it reached people that need content because that's how the world's moving now if you don't have content for a business realistically how are you reaching a large audience audience because everyone's on social media. It's not like back in the day. I can't even tell you about back in the day. I'm 20, but >> Yeah. No, it wasn't. It wasn't around. Fossils, isn't it? >> Yeah. No, in all fairness, you could have two businesses. Yeah. One's one's good. The one's got a good ad scheme where they get someone like you on you generating millions of views. That will exponentially increase revenue. And then you're going to have a good business that has no social media profile, but they have a perfect product, but no one knows about it. So then that's the thing like >> like you literally need one post to go viral >> for sure. One of your car ones came up. >> I was like cuz I was watching it and I was like >> o and I clocked I was like hold on let me click on these and the ones that one of the ones I saw is like video we need more customers. Okay, no problem. And then you like hit someone and you're pulling one of your colleagues in or something like that. I saw that one. >> That was so that was the first time I met my man and I had to I had to drag him. >> Oh really? >> I was like I'm so sorry. This is the skit they've asked me to do. >> That's quite funny >> cuz you know what it is? When you create, how do I say this? You create dumb content. Yeah. >> People interact with it. You create actual informative content and no one's no one's engaged in it. But the way sometimes I get portrayed on socials is absolutely stupid. Like I come across dumb. Yeah. So I've stopped all of those. Like those have not been filmed since February. And I've noticed my interactions have actually gone down. Mhm. >> So, it's a case of now what do I do? >> I know what you mean because it's you got a crossroad. It's either you carry on with that and you really blow your profile, but then you're sort of put into that segment or it's like do you do other content >> and then do you slowly grow it, but then but then again, you're only 20, I guess. So, it's like, >> should I be honest with you? I think all the content that you've already made in all this time, I think it's already set you up. your foundation is there with regards to followers, fans, creepy dudes, whatever you want to call it. >> Creepy. I love creepy dudes. >> Creepy dudes. Right. You You're sorted. So, I think yeah, sure. There might be a bit of a difference, but I think you can technically do whatever you want to from our point of view. Maybe. I'm sure you probably agree. You can do sort of whatever you want to cuz you have built that foundation. So, you know what? >> Just do you. >> I like it. >> Yeah. >> What's that? You not seen that leader under a rock? What's that? It's like, "Get it, girl." >> What? Clack it. >> Clack it. >> Get it. >> Go girl. >> I'll tell you after. I'll show you video. Don't >> know. So, like, if you say to me, "Oh, yeah. I just found my wife." I'd be like, "Clucky it." Like, "Get a girl." >> That's quite funny. Yeah. So, what about the whole modeling stuff then? How'd you get into that then? >> So, I started at 17. >> Oh, nice. >> Yeah. I was always I was the youngest on the scene every I still get called a baby now. Um, but I was reached out to first by the jewelry trunk. But if we're going prior to that, my mom's side of the family back in Hedraad, they own a clothing line called Nus and they've just opened up in Dubai. >> Oh, wicked. >> Free promo. Not like they even asked me. Um, so I it was my 18th birthday and I did like a shoot for them. Prior to that is when TJT reached out to me and I did two shoots with the jewelry trunk um and Mongers because TJT and Mongers at that time were working very closely together. I don't I don't know if they still work that closely but every time I wear TJT I'm always in Mongers so I'm going to assume it's that couple posts and like a lot of people like oh who's this? Like I still have so many inquiries that I haven't responded to but it's like my DMs now get flooded where it's creepy creepy men >> inquiry. So, I had to like put in my bio like email me. >> But a lot of people don't look at that. So, it's like I'm missing out on potentially working out with really great makeup artist and hair artists. >> Wait, so you are we saying that you're going to get men acting like they've got modeling gigs for you just to basically start messaging you and just I have had that. >> Oh my god, that's actually so creepy. >> I have had that. But what I mean is like I'll have so many I'll have like an influx of like random ment like oh not this again. It must be. Can you not make like a >> That's why they go into hidden. I showed you. It was like keywords I've put into hidden. >> Oh, that makes sense. >> Like feet and all of that. >> That makes sense. >> Paid dinner. Paid dinner. Baby cake. Like baby girl, baby cakes, sugar mommy, like princess. >> Just filter them out. >> Yeah. Like >> can I can I see what you've just filtered after this? Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Cuz this list must be mad. >> That's mad. So, what would you actually say to someone that's like because obviously there's probably a lot of girls out there like watching this thinking they want to get into modeling. They'll see like your side of it. How would you sort of describe it to people like that are watching the whole modeling gig? >> You know what, Touchwood, I've been so grateful that I haven't had bad experiences. Um, every single person I work with has been lovely. Obviously, there's going to be people you talk to a bit more and people that you talk to a bit less. It just depends on work ethic. It's definitely amazing. The one thing I'd say, invest in good skinare. >> Invest in really, really good skin care and make sure you're getting facials. Um, because keep in mind, they are they are literally putting like photographic makeup on your face. >> Apologies. >> Why are you laughing? >> You're so immature, bro. >> Anyway, sorry. >> No, but no, no, tell me why you're laughing. No, tell me why you're laughing. >> Make sure you get facial. >> Oh, sorry. Go on. Carry on. If you're laughing, God knows what's >> I ain't thinking anything. No, he's he's >> um Yeah. No. So, cuz they came don't don't >> he's himself. >> Sorry. Go on. Go on. >> No. So, like keep in mind they're putting layers and lays of makeup on your face. >> Yeah. >> Your pores are going to get clogged regardless. You will get blackheads and you'll get acne. But I'm already someone that did suffer with acne for a while until I like invested in they did like a blood phase where they took blood out your eye. Did you guys know that? Wicked. >> They take blood out your arm. They spin it around really fast >> and then they get the plasma and they like micro needle that into your face. >> I've seen that. >> I had to get a fair few rounds of that because I have really bad scarring. I still have it. Like obviously it takes time to go. >> But definitely those and your just best believe your hair is probably going to end up screwed. >> Oh really? Just the amount of product that they're putting in. Not just that, because I've bleached my hair, I feel like it's a little bit different. So, obviously, bleach has damage on my hair and it makes it a lot more brittle. So, when they're going in and they're using like heat products and they don't use heat protectant or like when they're back combing your hair, trying to brush that out when it's like you get home and it's like 10 p.m. You just want to shower and go to bed. You need to brush everything out and you need to take all your makeup off cuz like I do quite a lot of work in Birmingham recently. So, I will get home late or I will book a hotel, but by the time I get there, I'm so knackered. >> There have been times where I've just slept in my makeup and woke up with the worst acne the next day. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. It counteracts it big time. I have heard about that. >> Yeah, >> with guys as well. I just want to make this clear. I know you mentioned about the skin care guys. >> It's sick. It's so easy. I got uh Sarah Vee stuff. >> What retinol? >> Uh one's retinol, one's the like three different ones. My sisters recommended it. >> It's so easy, so quick. >> Yeah, cuz it's just like a cream or a serum that you just put on. As long as you do it in the right order, you're fine. >> Yeah, it's sick. >> Yeah. So, like I'd say that's one thing I definitely recommend. And then the second one is you're going to have people hating on you regardless. Like >> Oh, really? >> I was I started uh in not in sick form maybe just No, just as I was entering sick form like that summer >> and I remember there was a guy in my school and he had stickers like on Snap and it was a sticker of my face and it was like one of the first modeling shoots I did and I was just thinking like obviously it was like what the hell is wrong with you? But you've also got to be so so like thick skinned because if I look at where I am now and where he is now, I'm not saying this to compare, >> but I work for my I basically work for myself in a way. But it's also the fact of like I'm grateful for what I've built, but you took the out of me. So I purposely did that as a slap in your face to prove you took the me so I'm going to show you >> exactly who I can be. And I think it's really interesting because you've gone into social media, into modeling, and done all these things at quite a young age. It's sort of like at that like early stage, you're not like a clown, but people try to act as if like you're the clown there. And now fast forward x amount of years, like let's say 3 years forward, you're making money from it. You're actually pursuing it and you've got a very good following and they're probably the ones that are now starting on social media and that will probably end up messaging you be like, "Oh, Billy, could you just give me a little shout out?" Funny story. This did just happen literally last week. >> So, it's like people that bullied me in primary school. Actually, they reached out to me. >> Even more ironic because like two days ago, I saw a DM from someone that I went to secondary school with. And I'm thinking, oh, 2 years older than me and you were horrible to me, too. This is what I mean. Like, I was such a close-off person. They were like, "Oh, cringey little Tik Toks. Oh, sorry. Where did my cringey little Tik Toks get me now?" And I'm not saying that in a cocky way. I mean in the sense of I have managed to channel it in a way >> that whatever was trending at that time because it was just lip syncing. >> So okay cool I posted a couple there. Maybe they didn't get the most likes but now the tables have turned because I started vlogging my life and I got hated for that as well. Like there was one time I tried to make samosas. No spring rolls. >> I wasn't like folding them. >> Yeah. Yeah. Like you actually make them. >> I can make them. You can make them at home. Yeah. >> I'll make them. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, I bought like the the rap thing. I got hate for that as well from that same person that has now asked me Vids. I'm start like, "You don't know me, so don't call me Vids." >> Yeah. >> You call me Viddy or Vid. >> Can we call you Vids? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Chill with you guys. Um, so I was like, "Okay, cool. Now you're asking me for help." >> Yeah. And I think this is the really >> That's ironic. >> 100% because it was so interesting when we started this podcast. I used to watch this podcast and they said the exact same thing. He was just long story short, these boys out of Essics, they started turning into a full-time income after two years. And the most interesting thing is they go the exact same people that used to on them and say, "Oh, who do they think they are? They should ban people that should have podcast mics because it's too easily accessible. Like, no one wants to listen to your shit." Like, and they're the exact same people that are then asking you, "Oh, would you be able to just shout me out? I'm really thinking about starting this." So, >> you know, I think >> honestly, bro, like people don't realize this. First of all, kids are little shits. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> When you're young, >> school's ruthless. >> Ruthless. >> It's It's character development. >> It's crazy. You have to take it in. But like like you said about it, like you said about it. I also know a friend that I will be honest with you. I have added to the borderline bullying. I used to see him in the I don't know if you know what Asdan is. There was like a line. >> It's like you needed extra help in school, let's just say. Yeah. >> And I saw him in that line and I took the mick. Right. I shouldn't have done but I did. and Touchwood now he's killing it. He's doing really well, very successful. But he still remembers that. He goes, "Bro, I love you, but you're a little You were part of the reason why I did I was so successful and I don't want need to." >> I do think that though, like he's not wrong because it's like the people that were horrible to me in my time. I just think I'm going to prove you wrong. And not for the fact that I have something to prove, but for the fact of >> you could take the mick out of me, someone will do that to your child one day. And how are you going to feel when that child comes home and says that to you, mommy, daddy, this person has said this. >> Well, you're not going to like it, but you did it as a child. So, first of all, that's your karma, but second of all, I'm just going to show you that I can do better than you. >> And I think that is actually such a valid point because >> it click it. >> Click it. Clock it. >> Because I always think that Yeah. Because like even when I if I get into a situation where let's say I'm going somewhere and let's say something happens and someone swears at me or abuses me, I wouldn't react to it back or say something backwards cuz I'll always think, oh, would I want someone would I speak to my sister like that? No. So, I would always treat someone how I would treat someone like that. And I think it goes even with the social media. It's like if someone's not got something nice to say. >> Keep your mouth shut. >> Yeah. And I'm not being funny. I've said this in another podcast, but I'll say it again. If you're going to take time out of your day and judge your social media and take time out of their day to comment on your social media, you're internally flawed. You've got such a boring life that they're going to judge your life and not focus on their own. Like focus on your own. You don't need to focus on yours and you can move on. Like it's not that deep. >> Think about it this way. Yeah. If someone goes out in public and starts chatting bad about you. Yeah. >> You've already got word of mouth from your social, you got word of mouth. So like I know for a fact that that has happened on a night out and I say this because this girl wanted to come up to me and start screaming in my face and I looked at so she thought I was dating her boyfriend and I was like honey no I'm not. >> Like I'm happily single. The you know who's on my best friend's list? My brother is first. My cousin is second. >> My other cousin is third. My best friend is fourth. >> Yeah. >> I'm talking I I don't have time. Like I told you guys, I worked 21 days on and then a couple days off. So even today, I was late. I was late today because I was working. >> Yeah. >> So I was like, respectfully, I don't have time for you to be screaming in my face at 2:00 in the morning. >> And then the next day, I know for a fact she did this. >> She was like, "Oh, that bitty rose girl was so rude." I looked at her and I went, "I have no interest in you or your man for a matter of fact." I didn't shout you. Didn't throw my drink at you. I just said, "I don't have an interest in you or your man." She's gone to these other two girls and I know she said it because they've both dropped me a DM and I'm like, "You've already given me word of mouth and you've already had someone now DM me." >> It's just sad, isn't it? >> So, it's like a It's like a word of mouth thing cuz even if someone's hating on you, you still get exposure. >> Yeah. I don't know. I think because it's online, I think more people are happy to do it cuz there's no consequences. I don't know about you, what you think about this, but how many of those people would actually say something to you in real life? >> I don't know. I think I Yeah, I get where you're coming from because I don't think people would really say most of this to you. But it's like boredom. >> Yeah, 100%. >> It's just boredom. It's just boredom. >> But I think it's also the case of like if you can just take it on your chin like whole ass if someone says that to me, I just look at you and laugh. >> I'm like that >> cuz think about it. You're not paying my bills. You're not adding impact to my life. And I've worked on my piece so much. There is no way you are coming in and ruining it% respect that though >> 100% because we're like that like you'll see I reply to all I get so because obviously out of us two yeah I'm more of the like controversial one that just says random and I come up with dumb sayings which a lot of people >> good >> which a lot of people would just like hate on. And honestly, every single comment I'll either reply to him, God bless you, or a question mark, can you please explain what you mean? Just because >> gaslighting gas >> because I'm just like, listen, I'm not going to even remember who you are. Like, I've had stains that are like lasting longer than your than your messages. Like, it's not that deep. >> Here's the thing. I like on TikTok, I don't remember the last time I commented on someone's like that wasn't my friend. >> I've never done it. Yeah. >> Like on my friends, I will I will gas my friends out. All of them beautiful. I will let you know you're beautiful. random people. There is no way I'm commenting. I'll send it to someone like if it's like, "Oh, tag your best friend." I'm sending it to my best friend. >> I don't need someone else knowing what like I'm I'm thinking here. >> No, don't need that. Don't need that. >> So, I don't even know. >> Interesting, isn't it? People talk a lot of though. I realize that. >> For sure. For sure. >> Talk a lot of >> I feel like it's it's bad if I like say, "Oh, yeah, people do." Cuz I definitely do. M >> but in a sense of it's not really like it depends on the context though. I'm pretty sure you guys could get it cuz if it's like someone's wronged you so bad and you're thinking about it and you're like well what did I actually do? >> Yeah. >> It's not like you're actually talking about the person. But if a third party was to like witness the conversation, oh they're chatting%. >> But also I call it a a profile review. >> Okay. >> No. What is it? What's the saying? An annual review. Like you know when you go into your boss's office >> and they do like an annual review on someone or like a a quarterly review. >> Yeah. Yeah. And you just do that with >> Let's not say who. >> Okay. Peeps. Peeps. Peeps. >> Quarterly review. Me and my best friend. Yeah. We'll sit there and be like quarterly review time. >> Yeah. That's actually so >> cuz in the sense of like I have this sounds so bad and I don't want it to sound bad. >> I don't have a lot of friends and I'm okay to say that. Yeah, >> I really am happy with the fair few I have and all of my cousins and my brothers. I don't have any sis like female cousins or none. >> Um, >> okay, maybe there's one. She's in Australia, but she doesn't count. >> We love you. >> I know. I miss I was meant to be moving to Australia, but that that's a different story. Um, so I don't have that many, but after I started like socials, I've had so many like girls being like, "Hey girl, I want to go for dinner. I want to do this. I want to do And I'm like, "Huh?" >> I know what you mean. It's a It's a weird transition. >> Or like people that I went to school with, why are you trying to be my friend now? I And it's not a case of, "Oh, yeah, I just didn't like you then." Like, I got a lot of hate from the girls. I never got hate from the guys. And I was never friends with the guys like that. Some of them, yeah, cool. I didn't see them in any type of way, but the girls just automatically hated me. And I'm thinking, >> once again though, it's school. >> But no, I'll tell you what it is. A lot of the girls in my school were brown. >> Oh. >> Oh, this is the >> this is the second school. I'm like the the not brown people I've always been fine with. The brown girls have always hated me when I walk straight in. And the thing is it's crazy because some of them are in the same industry that I work in. >> Yeah. I >> So I have crossed paths and that's fine. Like I'm not I'm not going to sit here. I'm not going to chat I don't have anything against you. Quite frankly, I don't care. Do what you got to do. I'll do what I got to do. But it's just crazy how now >> Yeah. 100%. But what would you say to like someone that is starting out on social media, especially being a brown girl then? Like what would you just say to people like that are trying to start their profiles? >> People are going to attract their regardless. You've just got to be thick skinned enough that one, it doesn't bother you. Two, you're going to keep doing you. And three, your authenticity, God, it's hard to say with Invisalign. Authenticity will get you to where you need to be. Like if you've seen any of my Tik Toks, none of them are like fancy edited. Mhm. >> I do more UGC stuff because I'd rather actually showcase what I'm like or like none of my Instagram photos are edited. You will be able to see a spot in them. And the reason I do that is because I do have younger girls that text me be like, "Hey, how do I get into modeling?" And I've got one voice note that I've got recorded that I probably recorded like last year and I just send that. >> Oh wow. That's quite good. And it's quite helpful because probably especially for those girls, they probably see like a glamour side of it. obviously getting your makeup done, getting the nice pictures, being in the nice outfits, but probably they don't see the not a darker side, but what actually goes into modeling and actual the proper work to an extent. >> You would think that it's really easy. >> Yeah. >> But imagine having a bright light constantly flashing in your eye. No, I'm talking brighter than this though. >> Really? >> I'm talking brighter than this. Like imagine that times like four. >> So when you blink, you just see squares. >> Yeah. >> You can't see anything. Then second of all, like let's say I don't know um your eyelashes has gone in your eye and your eyes now started watering. You've got to angle yourself in a way that has not ruin your it's not ruining your makeup or like if you sneeze or something you've now got to be careful or in your photos. This this one's me personally. I I don't know about anyone else. Like I've always had body dysmorphia. So it's like I can think, oh my god, like I I I don't look how I normally look. I have my abs. So you'll consciously >> you'll consciously try, you know, put a better angle on, which is fine because yeah, at one point I was on the slightly chubbier side. >> So you have those things, but then you also have the long working hours. You're in heels, your feet hurt, the Langar weighs like 20, 30 kilos sometimes. >> I I remembered I tumbled down the stairs at the Fairmont Windsor show. >> My heel just went and I just started tumbling and I was like, you know what? My feet don't hurt right now. everything else hurts, but my feet don't hurt. >> No. >> So, it's like it's glamorous, yes, on socials, but obviously there's a lot more that I probably haven't mentioned, but every model has a different experience. Like, I know one of my other model friends, she finds it really hard to keep makeup on her face for so long because she's very like she doesn't wear makeup on a daily basis. Like, she's naturally gorgeous, >> but she just wants to itch her face. >> And for her, it's like I just want to scratch my face. I want to scratch my face. And I have to be like, "Look, you can't you cannot do that." >> Or like another model, for example, she then that I know, she her skin just started, not her skin, sorry, her hair just started like falling out because of how much product was going on. So, she's taking a step back. >> Like this stuff happens. Like that's even happened to me. So, I took a step back for a little bit >> cuz I was like, "Look, I need to to work back on this and I'll get back on the scene." >> Yeah. >> So, there's a lot more to it. >> Yeah. with the modeling side. I just wanted to ask so because you know loads of people talk about modeling and there's different types of modeling. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> So from what you've seen and from your eyes, can you look cuz they're scouts aren't there for modeling scouts whoever. Do you think you can see someone be like you'd be a good model or can people transform themselves to look like a model? Cuz we don't know the industry. And I'm saying it more on the basis of someone that thinks maybe >> I'm quite pretty. I think I can do modeling. And would you be able to say to them, you know what, I'm sorry, no, you can't. >> I'll tell you what it is. >> The the Asian modeling scene is very different to if you were to be modeling for like Ralph Lauren or someone like they're always looking for new faces and new people to represent them. Everyone's got a different face shape. Everyone's got a different face structure. And makeup artists love that >> because they can showcase >> how good they truly are. M like they if you're feeling insecure about your face and there's been so many times where I feel insecure I'm like oh I look awful today gone to makeup artist >> I feel like a bad beh like oh I'm never going to say to someone I don't think you could be a model because I think anyone can be >> Mhm. like in this sense, right? >> Listen, our time's gone. >> Should I tell you why? Because what I probably find conventionally attractive in someone else, >> Yeah. >> another person won't find that attractive. That makes sense. >> And what I find unattractive, someone else will find attractive. >> So, it's biased if I say you can't be a model. Because there's probably loads of people that are like, "Oh, Vinnie should be a model." And then you have a lot of people such as over a 100 makeup artists and people that I've worked with that'll be like, "She should be a model." >> 100%. So, it's more find your niche. It's not that if you're in a certain type of modeling, that might not be for you. But then you might, like you say, you go to a different sort of artist or a different niche and they're like, you know what, you're bang on what we need. Like you're the exact sort of person we're looking for. So, realistically, anyone could probably do it. It's more just finding your sort of own pathway on that sense >> kind of like I couldn't see myself. I'm not saying this like in a bad way, but I love the Asian modeling. I love I love getting dressed up and stuff. So, it's like when I think to if I was to do like I don't know like really simplistic stuff and like model, >> I could do it, but I know I would miss the Asian stuff. >> You see what I mean? So, like >> you're like a proper event. Like you're actually really looking forward to that >> cuz it's like a lot of the shoots that I do like we've always got music playing. Everyone's having a bit of a laugh. Feels like I'm getting ready for my wedding. I get my photos. I go home. >> I get sent them a couple days later and I'm like added to my wedding album. >> Yeah. And you know what's crazy? Someone actually created a Venita profile of me. >> What's a Venita? >> Exactly. I didn't know that. It's an Asian dating app. >> Oh, that's quite funny. >> And then and then it was also there was Venita and seeking. >> That's hilarious. >> But seeking is spelled s i k h i n g. Like if you're seek and you're seeking for love. >> That's wicked. That's quite funny. That's >> I didn't understand this. Some guy said, "I've seen your venita and seeking." And I was like, "Seeking?" I was like, "Is that like something to do with the gutw?" I was so confused. I swear I didn't I didn't mean to be like disrespectful or anything. >> He goes, "No, it's a dating app." I said, "Sorry." He goes, "Yeah, all of your like uh Asian modeling photos are on there." >> So, I'm thinking a bunch of men now. I think I've taken these photos >> to be like, "Oh, I'm I'm the perfect wife." >> Yeah. Yeah, that's funny. >> Who do you think did that? Guy or girl? >> Has to be a man. >> Who made the Who made that fake account? Guy or girl? >> I reckon it's probably a guy. >> You think so? Actually, no. No, no. I definitely think >> it's a girl. >> It's a girl. >> No, it's definitely a girl that didn't like me. >> Do you reckon? >> I think that's a girl. I'll tell you straight. I think that's a girl. >> No, but you know what? Sometimes guys, like I know I know of guys that have done that. Like they pretend to be a girl to try bait out like guys. >> Yeah. No, that makes sense. >> There's a mate that does it on TikTok, right? But I think with yours though, your your I mean I don't know when this happened, but your stuff's a lot more public. So it's a bit more bait. >> It's a bit more bait. But then you've got to think about it. I'm more so bait within the Asian community. Do you see what I mean? >> Or like for certain areas like now the Midlands because of the mixed girls, but makeup artists and makeup London. >> Okay, that makes sense. >> So it's like now if they've set my location to god knows Scotland. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What are they going to be like? Oh yeah, this guy I don't like lives in Scotland. >> So let's like try thingy him and pretend to be her. And you know what my name on there was? >> Elena. And I was like, do I look like an Elena? >> That's quite funny. >> What is that? European name. >> I don't know. I have no idea. But then I thought of Elena Gilbert from Vampire Diaries. >> Never seen it. And I shall not be watching it. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> I got I got called Vinnie the Vampire for years. So, I watched it cuz my uh my canines are really sharp. >> Yeah, you were saying. >> So, on the whole social media stuff, I think one thing that we saw on your Tik Tok and stuff was the Love Island offers. How did that come across and sort of cuz I've seen you've done a few videos on them. What's your opinion on it? And sort of Yeah, we I won't say anything like what's your sort of take on it and sort of going on something like that as an Asian girl? >> I It's not just Love Island. I've had two or three different ones. One was for ITV 2, I believe. I'll see if I can find the DMs. I'll show you. >> What's on that, though? >> I don't know. But is it It's like Oh. Uh, love is love is blind. >> Love is blind. >> I'm so sorry. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I have told you guys this before. I do not see myself finding the love of my life through Instagram, through Tik Tok, or through a situation where I'm forced to be with like talk to this person. And I'll tell you, I'll tell you why. >> Because first of all, I need to see if that person can hold eye contact with me. You can have a conversation with me, but if you can't hold eye contact, I already think you're guilty of something. >> So, I'm I'm not gonna >> Yeah. >> You know, sit here and say because that's psychologically speaking because I study psychology. It's like I analyze all the other stuff with that. But going back to Love Island, let's just say, yeah, I'd be disown. >> That's No, that's actually a fair point. >> And shall I tell you why? And I'm not saying this towards any hate of like brown people that have been on it because hats off to you. Like >> fair play. Like you've got brand like look at Molly May for example. >> Yeah. >> She is living. She is killing it. >> Yeah. >> So I'm never going to hate on them. Um, but they they they all do really well for themselves to be honest. But it's also I wouldn't feel comfortable just being in a swimsuit all day every day on socials like here and there. Like you'll never actually catch me posting something like super revealing on my Instagram. And that's also for the sake of >> one day you've got to think about oh yeah, my in-laws will also see that. >> Okay. >> And >> once it's out there, it's out there as well. >> Exactly. So, it's like videos of myself that I have taken down, they're somewhere on the internet somewhere cuz I have seen them >> cuz like there was a point where people used to make edits of me and I was like, I've only got like 3,000 followers. I'm so confused. >> That's that's good though. I'll be honest with you. It's >> because it's very >> You've learned that very young. >> Because it's very easy for a 20-year-old that would think, "Oh, I could go on to Love Island. I could literally exponentially increase my following. My modeling contracts will go >> 10 times more than what I'm on now." But then you've also, >> don't get me wrong, I spoke to mom and dad about it. >> I said, I was like, I'll go on for the shits and gigs. My mom was like, you? >> No. She goes, and I'm saying this because let's say later on you were to try to find love. >> Yeah. >> You're just going to be known as that Indian girl that went on Love Island and was unsuccessful. >> So, what about if you had to do like a heart rate challenge? That that's like when I >> I promise you I would have a seizure. I would pass out or I would end up like and I I say this because my body actually goes into fight or flight. >> So I know I would probably pass out knowing the fact that that's also going to be on the internet cuz then deep this Yeah. Your kids are going to see this one day. It's on the internet. Your in-laws are going to see this one day on the internet >> or like my own family members or my nieces, my nephews. Well, what are they going to think? What's Vidy Masi doing or what's my daughter doing? So >> it's not a case of if you do that fine. you probably look good doing it. Me on the other hand, I'm a bit more conservative. >> Think about the consequences, isn't it? >> Yeah. >> It's like um I think I saw something on was it Jordi Shaw? Jordy Shaw. Jersey Shaw. I don't know if you've ever seen that at all. >> Similar like they're in a house and it's all about just having a sick time. They're always going out. They're having lots of sex, etc. And then a couple of them in their interviews, this has gone on for like 15 years. And they're like, I I did regret doing that cuz I exposed myself or this and that. I take that back. But in that time, best believe they weren't thinking about that. >> So I saw an interview. I don't know. Like I didn't even know this TV show bloody existed. It's called Naked Attraction. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I never knew about that. >> There's some boy from that's been on there. >> No, they just faded him out, man. There's some mate. He's come on this. All right. Anyway, >> no. So, I was so it just came up on my TikTok and it was like um ex Naked Attraction star and I was naked Attraction. You know what I mean? Like what's going on here? >> I didn't realize people actually go like fully nude online and the person will be standing there judging you based off of your body. What is it? They see your face last. >> Yeah, but listen, let's be honest here. That person's probably packing a punch if he's going on Naked Attraction cuz he's obviously got a bit of confidence. >> Bro, I've Have you seen it, >> bro? Do you think I want to watch some naked men? The reason I say that is based on what you said. I have seen it. >> Not properly. I don't I'm not into like episode, right? >> I'm just saying. Yeah. I have No, listen. It's fine. >> He could go on for the females. >> All I'm saying is right, if you've ever been in a hotel room, it's one of the freebie stuff that comes on 10:00, you're chilling, you're bored, whatever. You put it on. Yeah. And I don't understand why some people are on that cuz I'm not being rude but you don't look good naked so there's no attraction. >> Do you know what I mean? >> But this is what I mean like >> it's it's shows like this it's just pure entertainment for other people but the implications it has. So going back to Tik Tok it was the guy that was on there >> um and he was like now that I have a family like it's crazy because my children's my children have seen it. my children's friends that they go to at school like their parents would have seen it. >> So, it's like >> I just think later down the line because it's like >> I don't know. >> I think that's quite good because I think especially for a lot of girls out there, let's be real, they would dream of having that sort of opportunity. They're probably waiting for or maybe applying for Love Island thinking, can I get on? But it's good to see that you could see not through it, but you actually think, you know what, yes, it will shortterm benefit me, but longterm it's just going to make my life worse to an extent. >> But also, I know a lot of brown girls that have also said no. Like it's not just me. >> Um I actually I went to an event and I saw like loads of they saw my TikTok and they were like, "Girl, me too." Like there is no way. So I feel like a lot of the brown girls also know because it's >> it's seen as like bey. And I think that's just brown culture. Like it's nothing against to anyone but Imagine someone like me going on love island and liping some girl randomly on day one. Yeah. My mom's never seen me hug a girl. Yeah. And then I've got my tongue down her throat and like then chuck someone into casera and you've got like a 10 out of 10. You're like >> no no no. But then no, but you know at night time when they like then lift the blanket over. >> Allow it. Allow it. >> And your mom sees that and she's like >> allow it. >> You know what? Go on it for me. >> Listen, I'll be >> honestly that would be jokes. Listen, the the problem is, yeah, and I'll be honest with you, and I think this is probably a lot of Asian people can resonate with that. Look, everyone's going to sort of have certain encounters with the opposite sort of sex, like in the sense of dating or whatever. Yeah. But I think from an Asian perspective, it's harder to see your kids do that because it's just not a realm that's opened up. So, if you're >> Yeah, cool, lad. >> You know what I mean? Like, bro, >> no, cuz it's like a lot of my friends that aren't Indian, like their partners just stay over at their house all the time. >> Yeah. And I'm talking like they've known each other for two weeks. >> Oh wow. I've seen that. >> Yeah. >> No man has ever entered my house. >> So what is the whole social media like with the whole DMs and you get like cuz obviously now you're modeling. You've grown a profile. So I imagine the DMs are quite wild. >> I've told you some of them before. >> Yeah. >> You know what it is? Yeah. I get a lot of them saying, "Oh, I'll pay for this. I'll pay for that." And I'm never going to say yeah, but I just wonder how much I how much would be my if I said yes to all of them cuz it's like, wait, let me read it. I did read some of Where's my phone gone? I did read um some of them to you guys. Some guy asked to lick my feet. >> What? >> I was like, god damn. Um I did screenshot. Wait, let's have a look, guys. >> Right. Should we read one? >> Go on. Would you be interested in foot modeling paid for or ever collaboration paid for to question mark? No face required. >> Well, you're still going to know it's me. You're going to know it's my face cuz if I accept it for the Vidy Rose. >> Yeah, but you could send a picture of someone else's feet. How are they going to know? >> I just still wouldn't do it. That's still like a form of porn though. >> Yeah, but it's not your feet. >> No, but it's still of a body part. Like it just it doesn't sit right with me. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> So, I wouldn't do it. So would you say like so on the whole like sort of DMs and all that? Yeah. How do you feel getting that sort of attention? Because obviously you're on social media but then you're going to get these sort of creeps. So how would you deal with it sort of thing? >> I just ignore it. Literally his name is Mr. Foot Photography. >> Oh, that's so funny. So that's a legit account. >> It's a legit. >> No, that's not. No, no, no. That's that's obvious 84 followers. I know who he was. >> Yeah. Yeah. Another what? This guy's legit. Some guy's telling me I broke our pinky promise. There's only 12 people in this world I pinky promise. So, you're definitely not one of them. >> But, we sort of had this conversation a little bit, which is like you you should Okay, hold on. I need to I need to be careful how phrases. I'm not saying that you should be DMing and like that, but if you're going to shoot your shot, the hi, how you doing? Are you okay? Is not going to work. >> No, it's not. >> Unless you are beautiful, >> super handsome. There you go. I wasn't sure if you're going to mention that, but if you're tasty, then you know, >> not even I still wouldn't reply. >> All right, so let's play devil's. Let's play it like this. Yeah. So, if a boy does actually say to you, "Hi, Viddy. How you doing?" and he's good-looking, would you reply? >> No. Should I tell you why? Because I I just don't know. I I just couldn't do it. >> So, if I message So, I'm I'm not messing No, I'm not messaging. No, no, no. I'm not messaging this. So, if someone messages you something like, "Let's go other end of the spectrum. what you want for breakfast the morning after we meet. So that's going extremely bold like to the other end of the spectrum. What would you reply to that? Because there has to be some I always say this because there has to be some middle ground because you're going to have certain men that are going to want to mesh someone on DM, which is completely fine. I don't personally DM like that's not my style. Yeah, but I can say it's calm. Like if you ask you, you go for you. But you can't be a s that messages, "Hi Vidy, how are you? You look really nice. Your eyes are really beautiful, but you don't want to go to the end of the spectrum where it's like, "What you want for the morning after we meet? I'm thinking pancakes." Like, that's just other. So, what would you say to someone like that? >> Honestly, don't know cuz I've like if I'm being completely honest, I've only ever responded to DMs where it's like work related or like when my grandfather passed away and people are saying, "Oh, sorry for your loss." Like, I'm not going to disregard that. Like, you didn't have to say sorry for your loss. I've responded to those or those stupid, "Hey girl, do you know XY Z?" Like, I have those are the only flipping messages I respond to. And I say this because I've seen how like screenshots can get faked out. Do you see what I mean? So, it's I'd rather be safe than sorry. You might be absolutely beautiful and if our paths are meant to cross, they will cross in real life. I >> you like you actually could be the most beautiful human being ever. I saw it respond. >> I actually didn't actually think about that. That's why like for from your perspective, you not that you can't reply DM, but you wouldn't because that makes so much more sense because you're >> imagine how it looks in a screenshot. Like if someone said something and I'm like, "Oh, now as a joke, >> they can unend that previous message that they've said and it looks different in a screenshot. It looks like I've just told them." Oh, I didn't actually think about that at all because especially with the way the way that you're doing your work and obviously you're putting yourself out on social media, you have to be so much more careful because that screenshot could go to someone else and like you say that could affect maybe future collaborations that you got, modeling jobs that you got cuz now Fiddy's the girl that does on but they didn't see they asked for your feet pick and asked for like 101 other things. So, >> you know, you cleared on, >> but and I say this because it's happened to people I know and I found out cuz all of my friends are older. When I was like 15, all of my friends are like 18, >> which sounds really bad, but they were all my friends like sisters or like my brother's friends cuz my brother's four years older than me. >> So, they've always told me like if you're starting social, if you're going to start like socials, you be careful how things are going to screenshot how you portray yourself online. Like even if you're posting in like slightly shorter clothes, people gonna have something to say. >> Yeah. >> But you're you're not standing there like naked attraction. You see what I'm saying? >> Or like what you put on your story or like if you're intoxicated what you put on or how you portray like Yeah. There have been times where I slip up and I'm like absolutely wasted and I posted a video of me just doing lines of shots. Well, that's fine. It shows got a bit of personality but a bit of a drinking problem. >> Yeah. >> But do you see what I mean? So, I I'd rather be overly careful than underly careful. And it's also a case of because I've been going out in Birmingham quite a lot, like I've been doing a lot of work there, but my best friend um she goes uni there. >> Every time we go out, I need to make sure that I am in check because let's say I decide to throw up somewhere because I drank too much. Someone's recording that Rose is being tagged. If Vy Rose decides to start making out with someone, God knows who's bored in their day is going to start recording that and it's going to go somewhere. >> So, it's like, >> so you're quite switched on like that. like you make sure like not make sure which you have to be like you which is actually quite rare like considering like you're only 20 years old but you're already forward thinking like this >> it's about image I don't know have you guys um have you watch have you guys watched beauty and black >> no >> so it's actually a really good TV show Mallerie is the girl she cares about appearances because it's also how you're portrayed to a wider audience I mean she's different with her inner circle like my inner circle could tell you I'm an absolute nut job >> in the sense of like I'll I'll try to learn how to do a headstand at four o'clock in the morning from just waking up >> or like I will overly panic or I overthink >> but to the wider audience I don't do that. I know what you mean. >> You won't you won't see that. You won't see me panic. You won't see me be emotional >> and I keep that >> for a reason because no one else needs to know you. It's about appearances >> 100%. You know, that's interesting because that falls under roughly me because obviously I'm myself to a certain degree, but we've obviously had a conversation prior to this which is a little there's there's a there's a difference, let's just say, right? >> Yeah. >> And you kind of have to calm yourself down. So, this was like my relatives and they go, why doesn't that side of you come out? I was like, cuz that side of me is just it's just too much. >> It's just too much. And it'll come out when it wants to come out. So maybe in the future you might see me turn into a bit more of a crackhead and actually say more of the stuff that you say. >> But you know what with me I'm like I'm I'm probably similar to you. Like I know my boundaries and I sort of like I would be the same. Like that's why I've always like I remember when we were first like us talking about the pod and it was like do I go and slide into DMs? I'm like nah it's just not my style. Like I think it's a bit cringe. Like that sort of stuff I and I think of it like that as well. It's like I would think like future on in the like 10 years down the line I'll be like do I really want to look back and see me sliding into a girl's DM and telling her that she's got nice feet or that like I would like come to your >> Do you know what I mean? Like >> you found your culprit. >> No, but do you get what I mean? Like >> one of the fake girls. >> But you get what I mean? Like I would genuinely think about that. So then All right. So that's online dating. So what would you say to like people that you'd meet in person? like how would you date or like how would you find that person sort of in like in person then? Like obviously if online sort of DMs isn't like your thing then we're in it. >> It's no it's going to be a long time from now and I say that because one I'm always working too. I actually don't have an interest currently and being in a relationship or being I don't want to use the word tied down because it's nice to have someone to share it all with. M >> but I think it's also a case of if you truly actually cared about the person before, you're not going to want anything with someone for a long time. >> Yeah. >> So for me, yes, that is the case. And it's like I know exactly what I want, but I know exactly what I need to build and who I need to be before I meet my person. >> Yeah. So, I think I've still got a lot of work to do, whether that be with my own company, fulfilling my roles and responsibilities as a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, things like that. Like, I I've got a lot that I need to fulfill, and I can't have I don't even want to use the word distraction, but that is what it is. And I say this because when I was in a relationship, I didn't realize how much time I spent with them. I didn't realize how much time I was on the phone to them. I didn't realize how much my screen time went up. And then when we weren't together, I was like, "My days feel so long. Like, I've got so much time. What do I do?" So, I was like, I I actually had 24 hours in a day, but it felt like I only had five because for the remaining like 19 20 hours, I was talking to him. >> You know, this is so interesting because I had this exact conversation with someone and someone said to me, they were like not bigger me up, but they basically just go, "You're a nice person. You're very family orientated. you've obviously got good values etc. Why wouldn't you go into a relationship now and sort of take that cuz it's obviously like you said there are a lot of perks of being with someone. Yeah. But I go it would be disingenuous for me which I'm basically juggling four jobs right now and I go to the gym. How would I have it would be disingenuous for me to have a relationship with someone where I can't give them that time. I can't give them that empathy and sort of build that sort of future with them because it does take a lot of time out of you. And I do think to people like there's nothing wrong if you feel like at this stage of your life you want to be selfish. You want to focus on yourself, work on yourself. I'd rather do that now and be the person I need to be in the future than just try to entertain for society's sake of you're at X age, you need to be in a relationship, you should be married by now. Cuz especially in the aging community, I find like you're seen as you have like a sell by date, you need to be married off by a certain date, you should have two kids by this uh like by this age, you should have moved out by this. like everything seems to be a stepping stone when it's like it's not really life's not like that. >> You know what? I'm going to ask you something. Yeah. So, cuz me and you've had this conversation. That's the answer you've given. So, since I've known you, you've just been working. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Non-stop. When do you think, and I'm not saying a time basis, when do you know you're ready to set settle down? >> I think it'll naturally happen. I >> In what way though? In what way? >> So, >> cuz you are going to be constantly working full- time. >> So, for me, I behind the like I love working like for me I genuinely love working like >> we gave each other the same >> for me like you know this I work seven days a week and I get bored of not working like it drives me insane and I just know like any door that is meant for me will not shut any path that is made for me will not close so if I met a girl tomorrow and she was like really good personality she's really religious and I could see my mom getting along with her I wouldn't shut that off, I would incorporate it into my life, but I let it happen naturally. I always believe like you don't you don't force things, you attract them. Like if you chase money and you think I'm going to get all the money in the world, it's going to go away from you. But if you sort of work hard, money will come to you as a byproduct of success and you'll attract it. So I feel like that's like the same thing as me getting into a relationship or settling down like you said. It will just naturally happen. I just don't put a timeline on it. So >> then what are your thoughts on like dating apps? >> I wouldn't use them. I think they're cringe. I'm just going to put it out there because like no how be honest with you. Yeah. Like I personally I would like say I'm more on the basis of I would want to say that I haven't met my future MS on a dating app and that I swipe right on her rather than swiping left. >> You know what? I've heard that so many times. Yeah. First of all, what is wrong with that? Cuz I've heard numerous people say that. >> So what? >> I know. I just think it's >> I don't care where we meet, bro. As long as we're happy, we're in love, all of that stuff, it don't matter where we meet. >> Yeah. No, that's fair. But I just think I prefer to like meet someone naturally. So, if I'm in the gym, I'm in the sauna. If I'm out and about, if someone introduces >> Oh, yeah. I remember you mentioned you in your sauna. >> So, it' be like, >> I love the way that was in if I meet my wife in the sauna. >> I'd much rather that. Do you know what I mean? Like, >> you made that joke on the call and I started laughing. Do you see what I mean now? Do you know like if I go into like if I went into that situation and like we locked eyes and like >> Do you remember that one? >> No, no, no, no. That stays out. But yeah, um we'll save that. That no comment. Yeah. Um but do you get what I mean? Like I would just much rather meet someone naturally. >> Yeah, of course. >> So like that's just my opinion. So what would you say like from your perspective? Would you go on a date now? >> Hell no. >> Is it just me? >> No. Should I tell you why I say that? I just I just don't think it's for me. Like I told you guys, I thought I'd meet like my person, I don't know, in a library or a cafe or in the gym, something like that. Like something that I do daily. >> And it's like I think if two paths are meant to cross, they will cross. It's like >> people from my past that God didn't want me to see or be associated with ever again. I probably live 5 minutes away from I have not seen these people. M >> and I say this because God did not want me to react with these people. Just like if he wants me to meet my person and as I do my self-development and get myself to where I need to be, that person will then be put into my life without me even needing to ask. Like they right now they could already be in my life for all I know, but the timing isn't right. >> Yeah. All right. I'm going to give you a quick fire question. Just a random one. What's your biggest ick in a man? Biggest ick. >> You know what? Don't don't think about it too much. What comes to your head? >> Quick fire. Biggest ick. >> Well, he doesn't know how to dress. >> No dress sense. >> Arlan, you're off the tables then, mate. >> Are you mad? >> If you want to look, she'll dress like >> He says that last time, right? Listen, I You know what? I So, a couple of the uncles that I know. >> That was a good one, isn't he? >> He says that. Don't Don't >> You agree. >> You were laughing at the facial. >> Yeah, true, true. Listen, bro. I got told I have decent fashion sense. All right. In a car. >> It looks like you're on holiday. >> What's wrong with that? >> Nothing. I'm just saying >> some of us aren't going Marrakesh all the time, are we? So, we have >> This is my first time ever in Marsh. >> Good laugh at it. >> Good fun. >> Good fun. Okay, so dress sense. What else? Quick, quick, quick. Boom. >> Dress sense. Um, poor hygiene. >> Oh, I love it. That is like you could be a 100 out of 10 looks, personality, whatever. Poor hygiene. I don't can't get over. But what would you class as poor hygiene? Cuz there's different >> Should I Should I break it down for you? >> As a man, if your nails are like dirty and there's like dirt in the bottom of your nails, >> it's just showing you don't wash your hands. >> I bite mine. >> Well, each to their own, I guess. >> Or like what's it called? If you're going on a first date and you just look like you woken up. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Or second of all, like I I think you guys have clocked like I'm very into like dental hygiene, >> flossing >> or like brushing your teeth twice a day or >> I don't know like just just random stuff like that. And I say personal hygiene because it's also >> that's the first thing someone kind of clocks >> because now if let's just say fast forward like three years you decide to live with the person. >> Now what? >> Yeah. >> So it's like >> first thing in the morning waking up to that. >> Oh, I love it. >> Mad. Is that one of yours? You see what I mean? Now, my big Do you want to know what my biggest ick is? Let's say >> Hold on. Hold. Let me try. >> You want to try to guess it? >> Okay, go on. You go. >> No. You know, like if you're messaging a girl Yeah. and she corrects your spelling. I genuinely think that's the >> Oh, allow it. It honestly inside it just makes me like ick. Like, >> bro, it's just like listen, if I'm chatting like if >> No, but how bad of a spelling are we talking? Cuz if you spell good as gu, I'm sorry you >> It's just like let's say if it's good and you put one extra O and they'll put >> Oh, yeah. No, I'm not doing that. But it's like if someone was to send me a sentence saying um I don't know that not right. I'm going to be like that isn't like I'll be like isn't and then the >> Oh, no. That's an icky. >> No, no, but like I'll only do that to certain people that I know can handle it. You know what I mean? >> It depends on how often. If you do it every single time, then best believe I will call you up on it. Be like, "Let's sort that Like there's one of my friends I know it winds him up. So like he could say something I'll be like spelling error. Spelling error. >> Just rage baiting. >> Spelling. Yeah. I do that on purpose. >> Yeah. That's funny >> cuz it's like he sees me as this annoying like like sister. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. So >> So that's banter. >> Was it hygiene and clothing? >> Yeah. >> Hygiene clothing. But also you know when like someone's after shave smells like bleach. Have you ever come across that? >> No. >> So, there was someone that was like trying to talk to me. We were in a um we were in a bar in London and he just walked over. I It just smelt like bleach. >> Maybe it was just like >> No, no, no. So, I asked him. I was like, "What after shave are you wearing?" So, he told me. I can't remember the name of it. >> Was he gas when you asked? He's like, "Oh, it's basically it's Did you do one of them ones here?" My mom was gas. >> So, so he told me and I was like, "Oh, okay. Okay." He's like, "Continue talking." And I just pretended to get a phone call from my mom. Oh, and I walked away. >> That's so funny. >> I don't know. But like it's not me being peak, but like my nose hairs were actually burning. >> Oh. >> So then like a couple days later, I like jorted it down. I went into Beauty Base and I went and sniffed. It smelt like bleach. >> Oh no. >> So is this has only ever happened once, but like if it ever was to happen again, I'm walking away >> 100%. >> Like I think my favorite scent and I say it's my favorite because I have my own bottle. >> Creed. No. Have you ever smelt stronger with you intensely by Armani? >> Nah. >> I absolutely love that one that to the point I have my own bottle. Like I actually wear it sometimes. >> Oh, interesting. >> And I'll tell you why. I will spray my brother or my dad's after shave when I go out in public just so people think, "Oh, she's got a man." >> Oh, if I'm in the gym >> Yeah. >> I But also your your lot sprays last longer. >> 100%. >> Yeah. >> So like I just be like, "Okay, cool." You got the oody stuff as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, one time this guy was in the gym and he was like, "Oh, do you need help?" >> And I was like, "No." He goes, >> I was like And I was like, "What the are you doing?" And he was like, "Are you wearing um what was it called?" It was Armani Code. >> I was like, "You wearing Armani code?" And I was like, >> "Yeah, why?" And he was like, "Oh, it's well nice." I said, "Yeah, it's my boyfriend's." >> Oh, that's hilarious. So then he just walked off because especially if I'm in the gym, I'm in shorts, my I'm in my sports, I'm in my element training, I've got my AirPods. Do you think I want to take it out to hear you? >> Yeah, I think I'm not going to lie. I think that's so such an ick if like a man goes up to a girl. Or the other one I I I'm assuming that's probably happened to you is where he'll come up to you and try to teach you how to use a machine to basically make conversation when it's like, mate, just the person train like it's not the time and place. Nah, bro. I think >> that's not what happened to me because my brother has taught me how to use the machines. Yeah, fair. >> But yeah, I think >> it's more the >> You know what? No one in David Lloyd really does that though. >> No, I think it's a pure gym and like the gym group sort of thing like you know full on like you know what sort of people go to there. What are you talking about? I go there, bro. I go there. I go to the women's area only cuz like it's >> you've got a women's only bit. >> Not in David Lloyd but like if I go to like the gym group, they've got a women's area only. >> I didn't know that. >> Oh, fair. I see. >> Yeah. So, like I would go train there. Even like everyone active, if I've gone to their gym, they have a women's area only. >> Yeah. >> And I prefer that because it's like >> let's say it's summertime, I don't feel like I'm being watched. Like I don't want to wear my pump cover whilst I train. >> I get that >> 100%. Well, go on. We got a little game for you. I think Arlan, you're going to lead this part. >> Yes, we are. >> Why did you say it like that? >> No, cuz I realize I'm going to have to freemix it a little bit. Um, so I'm going to give you some statements and I want you to basically put down the label of toxic, delusional. Well, no, let's do toxic, delusional, truthful, and green flag. >> I'm going to forget all of them, but yeah. >> Okay, let's do >> toxic or truthful. Is it >> red flag, green flag? Let's do red flag, green flag. Okay, >> do that. >> Uh, first one. Men who say I'm not like other guys. >> Both flag. >> Oh, why is that a go? Okay, let me give you the context. Well, I think this will make a difference. All right, so the first one, uh, we're sitting in a library. >> Okay. >> Okay. And I see a book that you're reading. I come up to you and start speaking to you. I don't do this often. However, I am I saw that book, etc., etc. And that's where I've basically said it. I'm not like other men. You've basically said to me, "Oh, you probably do this all the time. I go to in that library, in that situation. I don't do this. I'm not like other guys." See now he could be lying or he could be telling the truth like you don't know but >> in that situation what's your gut instinct just top of your head oh >> chatting mate >> see I thought that would be more the green flag one >> no I think that's a red flag >> cuz the next one >> I'll tell you why go on >> I'm in a library >> I'm probably trying to lock in >> and you thought it's appropriate to come disturb you whilst I'm trying to lock in >> no but you could be reading like my favorite book I'm like ra that's amazing can I ask like where did you who told you about that who recommended it, how you find >> if you started the conversation off like that, it'd be very different. >> But then your reaction could be like, "Oh, haha. I'm sure you talked to all the all the other boys like that." All the >> No. If you actually start like, let's say I'm reading a book and you've come up to me and you're like, "Oh my god, like this was my favorite chapter. Like, what part have you got up to?" And you're actually intrigued about the book, but I will engage in it. >> Okay. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go to a library. I'm going to co-pilot. Like, I'm gonna find like the fittest bird in there. I'm gonna co-pilot that book, the most interesting chapter. I'm just going to go up to like, "Oh my god, I love this book." You know that chapter when John and Phil meet like Do you know what I mean? I'm just going to >> Yeah, but that might not work in all cases. >> I'll be honest with you, bro. I I've never seen your game. I'm not saying this in a rude way. Just I've just pictured that specific situation. It don't look good. >> Imagine you skipping >> what? Skipping. >> It don't look good. >> Why is it not What? What's going to be wrong with you? >> John, have you read that chapter? I could see that. >> So, you think I couldn't move to a girl in a >> No, no, no, no, no. I think that specific madeup situation would never happen. So you'd be in a very awkward uncomfortable if she was reading some type of like >> finance apprentice dragon's den kind of book the out of her like do you know what I mean? >> Yeah. But if she was that would be something I can see you're in your element and you can have a proper conversation. But she's reading like an adventure book about that comes in chat GBT. >> It's not organic though is it? That's not organic. >> Yeah. But then you don't want to force it. Like if it's actually organic then let it happen. Don't use chat GPT. >> Yeah, he loves chat. I swear I'm not even lying to you. He loves it. >> No. Half of these people in this generation. Have you seen those Tik Toks? And it's like, um, wait, let me ask chat if I can marry you or not. >> Oh, no. Like that. >> Because did you know, I didn't know this. There was this girl who was explaining about what her and her friend do. And like they talk to chat GPT about their amen. And they be like, "These are his green flags. These are his red flags based off of this what he's just done. Is that a green flag or a red flag?" And I I was just too stunned to speak. >> Yeah. >> Is that normal? >> I don't think so, but apparently it's getting increasingly normal. >> That's quite interesting. Go on. Question. >> It's all your mateies. That's what it is. >> Question number two. >> Um, men who watch your stories but never message. >> And by story, sorry, I mean like it's blatantly obvious that they are watching your stories. >> So, they're liking them. >> It's not a quick, oh, what's next? Whatever. They're watching your stories. Maybe you've seen someone. They're watching your stories. You think to yourself, >> "Redgy fag." >> Red flag. >> Go on. Whatever you said. >> I'd say like that's a green flag maybe because like you're just watching it. You're not >> barging into it. Like you're you're showing me like, "Oh yeah, no. I think you look nice, but I don't need to message you to tell you that. >> Apparently, women do that. They watch your stories and boom. But they won't send a message. >> Yeah, but I'm not going to lie. No, but I think it's a bit of an ick if the girl makes the first move. As a man, I feel like >> Yeah, but you're never going to DM someone. So, how is that going to ever happen? >> No, but if when I've had girls DM me and like it is a little bit of an ick. Like, I'm just going to put it out there. Like, I just >> How do you ever plan on finding your wife? >> It would just naturally happen. >> Yeah, he's he's rejecting absolutely everything. I know I come up with like this 100 point checklist, but I'm actually genuinely not that fussy. Like I would genuinely compromise on a lot, but like if you ask it like that, like it sounds like a list. >> Yeah. Yeah. Each their own, isn't it? >> Um, men who say they want a natural girl but follow models. >> I mean, I can say I want a natural man. I follow a bunch of men that take steroids. >> I mean, not that I do. like my following like all the people I follow, makeup artist, hair artists, other models, events companies, decor companies. So each to their own, but like it's how you interact with that. Do you see what I mean? Like cool, fine. You follow them. You could you could be following 2,000 people. I I don't care who you follow. You can say you want a natural girl, but >> what is that though? And you can't be in the middle. >> I mean, I've had filler. I I've had lit filler. I'm not going to sit here and lie. Like I have had it. I mean, there's nothing in there right now cuz it's all gone cuz it's been 2 years. But I'm just like, well, your expectations in this generation out of all things, that's what you're concerned about. >> Have you seen like the way other people treat people? Like whether that be abusive relationships or people cheating and you're concerned about what my face is injected with. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's Yeah. Yeah, but let's be honest. Like some people's list of what they want is just absolute nuisance. And it's very >> like that's like me saying, >> "No, like I want a guy that's got a six-pack, goes to the gym, and drives a Ferrari. I'm I would much rather look at an individual for who they are as an individual." Now, I think of it this way. Yeah. Because um my my mom's mom and my dad's dad, they both passed away. So, your partner that you marry is going to carry you through your parents passing. Yeah. Yeah. >> So, it's like your appearance isn't going to comfort me in that time. >> It is who you are as an individual. Your like you as a being, >> your mental capacity. >> I think that and and I think that's one big thing like I know we joke about it on here, but like that's one thing I look for especially is like as a big green flag is like someone's personality, someone's actual traits, how they are to like their parents, how they are as a general human, just like I think that's the biggest green flag that you can get. And like manners, I always feel like manners and lack of empathy is like massive red flags. Like >> no 100%. But then also think about it. Yeah. Let's say someone with the nicest heart approaches you, but they're not what you like visually, you're not going to talk to them. >> Yeah, you won't. >> But someone that looks like completely your type and has like the worst heart ever, you're going to talk to them. So yeah, physical attraction is important there. But I also think >> once you get to know someone, they become a lot more attractive in that process. And once you start to maybe not get on with them, they become a lot more attractive and you're like, "Oh, >> oh, it's a natural thing." >> So, I feel like that's why it's also harder because you kind of have to find someone that like you know >> you find attractive, but they've also got a good heart. >> I think that's the hardest part. I think you can find anyone attractive these days, but it's like obviously their morals and you know what you think is right for you moving forward. I think that's very important. Please do guys think about this when you're looking for marriage or your other half. Like don't just go on appearances. 100% >> and start picking up certain stuff like what you actually like, what you want out of someone and all that >> massively because I think looks fade. And I think so many people overlook big personality traits where it's so interesting. I always go back to the saying of go with someone's actions and not with what they tell you. So you could have someone that's saying that could lead you onto a dream and like this massive ship of like I'm going to do this, this, and this, but their actions are completely the other side. So you're then like you're trying to basically just talk into my ear to make me believe it, but your actions don't actually back up what you're doing. So that's why I always think it's like go with someone's actions, not what they're actually saying to you. >> I also think it's a case of you actually don't, and this is just based on personal experience, you don't actually truly know someone until you see something not go their way. >> That's my and I say this >> because everything could be going their way and they're all happy and they're all chirpy. You see something not go their way and you see how they then react. Yeah. >> And that's then a case of this could be for men and women because obviously women can be aggressive too, but so can men. Like you can witness something and I'm not saying this has happened to me personally or anything, but you see something not go their way and they kick off. >> Like your other person just kicks off and you're thinking, "Well, I didn't even know you had this side to because everything's been rosy and green since then." Now, that could be a one-off slip. But then that paints a picture in your head that you're like, "Right, >> so if this can happen once, >> yeah, >> if this happens again, will you behave the same way >> or will you not?" >> I don't know. I'll be honest with you, in that specific situation, unless it's something truly like I cared so much that it deserves that kind of reaction. Personally, what I think is simple stuff like that, they would have been cracks there that you probably didn't notice unless it was just a solid explosion. Cuz if someone's exploded like that and you're super shocked about it, >> it's either one of the two. I'm sorry. I think it's either one of the two and you've just somehow let go of, oh, that was nothing. Oh, that was nothing. But they were like that. >> Yeah. >> I just That's just what I think. Yeah. Yeah. >> Well, what's next for you, Viddy? What is next coming up? Plans, future, aspirations? >> Um, got quite a bit on my plate actually this year. I've got my company launching which I don't want to >> shout out. >> Yeah, I don't really want to speak too much on it only cuz like >> Yeah, I wasn't sure if we were talking about that, but what whenever it happens, good luck to you. >> Yeah, you guys will be there for the opening party. We're holding her to that. >> Oi, you see this? It's on camera right now. She If you don't hear from us, >> right? >> So, you've got a Yeah. So, you've got a company sort of opening up towards the end of the year, which obviously people when they follow you on socials, they can keep their sort of posted for that. >> Yeah. It's definitely something that's exciting. It's still like early days brewing, but strategically it's there. I think I also want to travel a lot more this year. So, I've already done two locations. I've got breaking borders this year, too, guys. >> Oh, we go. That's wicked. It looks so sick. I can't lie to you. It looks so sick. But >> no, I really I had such bad FOMO last year. >> Oh, you didn't go last year. >> Fair enough. Yeah. So, that's why obviously this year >> this that's why this year I've done Marrakesh and and I'm doing breakers. >> Sick. >> Um No, Marbs is potentially on the cards. >> Um I really want to do Croatia. >> It just looks pretty. >> Yeah. So, a lot more traveling this year then. And what about the work side of it? So obviously you got your company on one side. Are you sort of going to carry on pursuing the whole modeling stuff and sort of how >> I love it. I I couldn't give it up. >> So from what so cuz you've obviously you do that and the the we call it office work 9 to5. Yeah. >> From the way that you're saying and I'm obviously this is just the way I see it. >> At what point will the modeling do you think become like fulltime? Is that something you you've you can potentially see or is it going to be like okay now boom I'm ready or do you like the mix between the two as well as all the other bits that you do? >> So for half a year for 6 months I was fully just self-employed. >> Mhm. >> Oh okay. >> So I I have done it before and don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but then it's also like keep in mind if one day I'm traveling up to Birmingham >> then the next day I'm in London then the day after that I'm here then the day after that I'm there. It's just like my routine gets staggered. So I don't have a set routine. Whereas like Monday, Wednesday, Friday when I'm working, I know straight after work, I'm either going to go to the gym or I'm going to go home and do XY Z or like oh this day after work I can get all my appointments done like I'll get my hair done, get my lashes, I'll get my nails done. Whereas like when you're back to back with constant bookings, it's a little bit hard. >> It gets a bit much. >> But also right now it's wedding season, so you're not really getting as many shoots. >> Oh, fair enough. Because I can imagine the whole shoots and the whole clothing, the advertisement of it happens leading into wedding season. >> Exactly. >> Oh, so it's quite not seasonal, but there is that sort of up and down sort of which is fair. Yeah. >> So I definitely say it's like it's hard to like do within the summer. >> So it's kind of like you don't really know. Whereas like content for example that I also do for like other companies, I'm literally doing it for >> I don't know if you guys have heard of STAXies. They do like um like protein meals like it's all calorie counted and stuff. >> That's uh one of my boys's place. >> Oh, Saxis. >> Yes. I'm doing Yeah. So that's the one I'm doing content for on Thursday. Yeah. >> Oh, you know the m >> Don't worry, we'll make a video for him. >> So yeah, that's what I mean. Like I will do content for other people, but like that you need that all year round because people constantly need new videos. >> So it's like >> I don't know. >> Yeah. I think maybe the 9 to5 will probably go when well 10 to 5 will probably go when my company fully takes over because that that will be my child >> and no one else's business is coming close to what I am building for myself. >> And I think that's very smart from a financial perspective because you'll have your side hustles in sense of modeling and all that. So then you'll have your baby which will be the whole um actual company you're making and it actually leverages the risk and actually reduces the risk because it's like you can put the effort into the actual company and know that you've got some sort of income coming in rather than let like making it higher risk and thinking to yourself, oh no, I'm going all in on this company and then if it doesn't work, I'm not saying that it wouldn't, but it puts that pressure on it which actually means it's going to make it so much easier for you to actually grow it organically because it's just like I don't really have the pressure. I can just grow it at its own speed and just blow it up. >> The job markets now also are crazy. I would like if I do have something that's like stable, I wouldn't leave it% because people with degrees now I like I still haven't got my degree yet. I'm still studying. >> So it's like >> how have I landed a job but >> maybe with a law degree still doesn't have one. And that that does not make sense to me because I feel like >> how much do you pay on average to go to uni? Like what 60k? >> Yeah, at least. So my uni per year is only three grand. >> Oh wow. >> So that's nine grand. >> Yeah. >> Because it's all online. I don't have physical uni. My lectures are all online. There's there's no >> open >> open uni. Yeah. >> So it's like so I'm still studying but I've somehow landed a job now. He's more qualified than me. I don't know how I'm doing it. >> Yeah. >> So that's what also just doesn't sit right with me. So I wouldn't leave something that I know I'm making a certain amount every single month that's covering bills, going into savings, doing XY Z, >> and then go to Absolutely nothing. >> I get that. >> Yeah. Ah, >> sensible. I'll be honest with you, and I know I've said this before, but you're very clued on. >> Yeah, 100%. Hats off. I will say that as well. Listen, we don't say this a lot. Sort of like, but you are very switched on. Like, people might think they know you and sort of see like the modeling side of it. You're very you put your personality out, especially on TikTok. Like, you really do authentically just put yourself and it's so like behind the scenes and just like what you're generally like. But we can actually vouch like there is a brain behind there. Like obviously we've had a few discussions with you like behind the scenes and yeah you're very switched on. >> Oh that's what I like to hear. Thanks guys. >> No honestly it's good. No 100%. And >> you don't you don't find it these days just generally speaking. So many conversations you'll have with people there's honestly there's just no substance to that conversation. It's just dry. It's dry. There's too many dry people with dry personalities. Right. >> Dry dry responses and replies. >> Dead. Send some gifts here and there. Do you know what I mean? Be a bit warm. >> Do you say gifts or gifs? >> What do you say? >> Gifts. >> Okay. Yeah, I was going to say gifts. I was going to say, >> no, people at my work, like not my current workplace, but like when I used to work in like a marketing agency, >> the way these look, they'd be like, "Send a gif in the chat, will you laugh?" >> Gif. >> That's quite funny. >> It's a G. GIF. Yeah. Anyway, weird weird people. >> But then it's like Georgina is spelled with a G, but it's said like with a J. >> Listen, I I ain't got the brain capacity for that right now. I'm trying to spell it in my head and it's just not spelled G. No, that sounds right. >> Yeah, but J >> J, >> not G cuz you're saying GIF like but Georgina said J rather than G. >> Well, help me out here, man. >> My spelling's horrible. I've person. >> Well, look, good luck to you. Good luck with all your adventures. Um, obviously we've had you on today. I am sure we'll have you in the future. Obviously, you'll see us in the whenever that thing is going on, right? You'll see us there. But it's been wonderful having you. No idea. >> Wait, wait. If you can just give him a bit of dress sense cuz he looks a bit past. >> Okay. Seriously, who looks better between us two clothing, fashion sense wise? >> Oh, I should have asked. Listen, >> listen, stay quiet. Stay quiet. Your response has said it all. >> Not going to lie. I'm my I was actually in a gym fit and then I put on the season jersey because I was like I can't really come in here in like a little gym zip up. I look like a PE teacher. >> You know what? We won't ask her cuz she's doesn't know what she's talking about. We ask you guys. Put it in the chat. Who looks Who has a better dress sense? >> Comment. >> Comment. What did I say? >> Chat. >> In the chat. This is like a live, isn't it? >> And where can people find you on social media? on Instagram, Viddy Rose, and Tik Tok, Viddy Rose. >> Love that. >> And just want to say again, thank you for coming on. You didn't have to do it. You've obviously had like a very long day. You've been working all day, and as we always say, like we're very early on in this sort of whole podcast game. So, we really do appreciate your time. >> Thank you very much. >> Bye. I loved it. >> Had a good chat for >> Don't look, don't look. >> 93 minutes. >> And you know where to find us. Make sure that you follow us on all social medias on Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Spotify. I don't think I've missed anything. >> No, I don't think you did. No. >> And make sure you like, comment, and subscribe. And we'll see you in the next one. >> Peace. >> Bye.
