hello everyone I just very quickly want to show you how I am going live in a school at the moment uh and this works pretty well for me and the community so first thing is if you want to get this here you actually need to navigate to the calendar set up an event and this is really really straightforward so you just need to give it a title like live Q&A with Evelyn pick your date and time and then you actually need to set a duration and so you can save and you can upload a cover image here and I actually made you a few templates with a few different live coaching component ideas if you don't know what to give in your community so live Q&A group session review session guest expert or hot seat calls and so feel free to use them I use this here and then you can save it and just add it and then when you actually go live school will automatically show you as live so I've already been live I just extended I was a total of two hours I just extended the time so you can see um this live button here and how it looks in the communities so that comes automatically when you've set up the event but of course you also need to have a place where you can send people to and this is where I use streamyard and um this is pretty straightforward you can create you need to connect your YouTube channel um which is also pretty straightforward so under destinations you add a destination YouTube channel and just click your way through and once you have that set up you can say create live stream select your YouTube channel have the same name like Q&A with Evelyn and I like to also have it in the description here and sometimes when I have resources for the members I'll drop the link to that here as well now important today I actually did public because I wanted to have an example live Q&A to give you so you get an idea for what that can look like um but you would actually want to have this unlisted then you create a live stream and then you just need to make sure your camera setting and everything is fine enter the studio add yourself and then instead of going live right away you would want to click here say view on YouTube click through to the platform and then you have your link to the upcoming live and then all you need to do is post in your group please join me for the live Q&A have the link here and then um pin it at the top right and then once you're ready in the studio you just click on go live and then you're live and you will see here in streamyard the comments coming in um people won't comment in school I just quickly want to show you this here so I'll also link for you um the latest live that I did so you you get an idea right so this was just right now I was live oh no that's an old one here this one I was live and then you see um the comments they they typically come in live in into streamyard here so yeah that's basically how it works it works really well for the members and I just after then go in here and update the thumbnail I believe you could do this right away in streamyard too but I forgot about it okay I hope this helps uh and let me know if you have any questions
