thank you welcome back to the channel and today's something a little bit different we have a new release it's this leading the Rebellion I don't do a lot of new releases on the channel especially not biographies or you know this is kind of a semi biography at least but Jason Kingsley is a very interesting character so I wanted to get to this it will set you back about 15 pounds in the UK or about this you know 18 Mark in the US maybe twenty dollars I'm not quite sure on the pricing in the US at the moment it isn't the longest book it's um like a lot of um kind of biographies in hardback this comes in about 270 Pages maybe it'll break 300 in paperback form but it's about 80 80 000 words and it has a very interesting structure so as you can tell by the cover here Jason he is um someone that takes kind of heraldry very seriously he has his own heraldry he uses the nightly virtues as kind of like a chapter guide here um only very Loosely and he uses them to depict parts of his life and to talk about Modern Life and comparing it almost to Medieval equivalency and it's really really interesting because of the diversity and breadth of experience that Jason's had in his life I'll give you the cliff notes um the guy is Oxford educated he's an athlete he's like a historian he owns several companies he works in TV and movie he works in publishing and he works in the video game industry and Rebellion um as the title says is one of his company's names um so he's kind of Incorporated that in there and he will really give you kind of like the key points of his career but also or more importantly kind of the learnings and the philosophy that he applies to life and it is a little bit of a I wouldn't call it a self-help book he I don't think he's he's you know quintessentially British Jason he doesn't take himself too seriously there's a lot of humor in the book and it's very disarming and it's such an easy book to consume you know it's not a long book but the pages they just fly by because Jason you know you kind of come to know him uh throughout the book uh you get a little bit of his background and um as his stories unfold and stuff it's it's humorous it's light and it's a very easy read um I don't have a lot of biographies to compare it to in in recent years but I I enjoyed it very much I'll actually give it a four out of five foreign
