Is a verse from the Quran correct? If you deny even one letter, one word, one point, will you still have faith? No. You agree with this, don't you? We have heard this since childhood and all the scholars here say this. Well, that is what was revealed from Allah to Muhammad (peace be upon him) but the Quran is right. Well, I am telling you a hadith. Surah Ahzab is a Surah of the Quran. There are 73 verses in this Surah in the current Quran. This is my Tafsir Ibn Kathir. It is narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that once Uba ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) asked me how many verses there are in Surah Ahzab. I said, 73. He said, "Be quiet. It is the equivalent of Surah Al-Baqarah. We recited in it, "Allah is the Judge. When an old woman commits adultery, strike her with a broad sword and kill her. This is a punishment from Allah. Allah is the Mighty, the Wise. Do you understand a little bit? There are 73 verses in Surah Ahzab in the current Quran. However, he says that the Messenger of Allah In the past, we used to read the verses of this Surah Ahzab, we used to think of it as Surah Al-Baqarah. Surah Al-Baqarah is the largest Surah of the Quran. Okay, if I tell you the number of verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, let's say 286. It might be something like this. I haven't seen it. I mean, the largest Surah, you see, 200 came down from 86. Where are the remaining verses? Does n't the question come naturally? Hmm. Where are the rest of the verses? If the matter is that the remaining verses have been lost. These could no longer be saved. Did you know? The Quran was not compiled during the time of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Abu Bakr did this. Then Omar. Then, during the reign of the third Caliph, Hazrat Osman (may Allah be pleased with him), this Quran was compiled. Before this, during the time of the Messenger of Allah, during the time of Abu Bakr, during the time of Umar, the Quran had not been compiled. There were scattered stone carvings. Some were on the leaves of the trees. It was written in various places. In that case, how many companions fought? There were many people doing it. They had it memorized. It was in their hearts, it was in their chests. So as soon as they died, those verses were lost. There is also such a hadith. Then there is a hadith narrated by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), which states that the verse regarding resin was revealed on a page written under my bed. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, we were all busy, and then a goat came and ate it. Well, these are the verses of the Quran that were lost or the verses revealed by Allah were eaten by goats. The goat ate it. This verse has been preserved, but it is not in the current Quran. What do you think after hearing all this ? There is a place in the Quran that says, "I have revealed this Quran and I am responsible for its preservation." This means that Allah Himself has taken the responsibility of preserving this Quran. If he has taken responsibility to preserve this Quran, then the verses of the Quran are not one or two verses. How do hundreds of verses get lost? How do goats eat Quranic verses? Do these things raise any doubts in your mind ? Why aren't you doing it? How can a goat eat the verses of Allah? Goats only move or eat at the command of Allah, right? We know that. Nothing happens without the command of God. So it is the verse of Allah that He has taken the responsibility of preserving. It's in the Quran. So doesn't this verse of the Quran prove to be wrong? No, how is it not proven? So where did the rest of the verses go? This is why he said that Surah Ahzab was equivalent to Surah Baqarah. But the current Quran only has 73 verses. Another 100 or so verses were lost. Where did these go?
