Hello and welcome to school news. >> So live streaming update. So pin for everybody works in calls and recordings now. Boom. >> Give you a little demo to show you what that looks like. If I go live, I'm going to go live. Nice glasses, Kirby. >> Do I look good? >> Um, and so if someone else joins, I can now pin for everyone. So by what happened before is it was a grid view like this, right? But let's say Cla wants to give some kind of spiel. I can make her big >> speech, speech, speech, speech, speech. And then let's say I want to grab Zinger here and pin her for everyone. Then she can be pinned. >> Speech. Speech. Speech. Speech. >> Then you can unpin. So if you're doing a you know if you're doing a um a bigger call like I don't know 20 30 whatever people and either you want to be spotlighted for everyone or you want someone else to be spotlighted for everyone. You can do that. Right. And the cool thing about this is it's wizzywig. What you see is what you get. Um, so how it looks in this room for you will be how it looks in your members view and that will be how it looks in the recordings. >> Clean. >> So it's all just the same. >> Let's go. >> Um, now members can still view full screen like this. >> Oh, what a handsome gentleman. And so here, you know, if any member at any time wants to just view someone's screen really big, they can do that. That won't impact anyone else on the call and it won't impact the recording. >> Nice. >> Yeah. So that is that. Now the right now you can only pin one person at a time. Well, actually you can pin more than one person, but only one person will be spotlighted if you pin multiple people. Y >> and we will support multiple people being pinned at one time soon cuz for example let's say you've got 100 people on and you want two people to have a conversation and you want both of them to be kind of spotlighted and everyone else smaller. >> Yep. >> You'll be able to do that soon and it will reflect in the recordings too. Um but yeah, we're just we're going to keep shipping incremental improvements to live streaming. >> Let's go. Um then road map update. Little glimpse at this. So in progress, we've got subscription tiers. Everyone wants it real bad. It's getting closer. Um then school webinars. So right now we've got what we call like a school call, which is the grid kind of view, but now you can spotlight people and stuff. But school webinars is basically when people join, they don't have their video on, they don't have their audio on. All they can do is observe and chat unless you pull them up onto the stage. >> Yes. >> And this is better for like a thousand person events, 2,000 people events, whatever. >> Yeah. People in the chat were asking why this call right now is still on Zoom. It's because there's 200 people and if anyone could just unmute, it would be crazy. >> Yep. Plus, it's also hard to demo our live streaming feature while using our live streaming feature. We need an extra dimension to like to be able to do that. Yeah. So, there's that. Um, >> an improved analytics. >> School webinars is getting close. >> Oh, yeah. That'll be before TE's, right? >> Yeah. I think this one could ship in the next I always get in trouble for saying things but like maybe the next 7 to 14 days I think is pretty realistic. >> Let's go. >> Tears should be sometime in October and improved analytics probably like a at least a month out on that >> cuz that one's going to be crazy. >> Yeah, that one is hardcore. It's going zero to like it's going from average analytics to the best we've ever seen in one move. So yeah. Um, so that's the road map. Now, super important news. >> Biggest update. >> Biggest update we've ever shipped. New merch item. >> Let's go. >> So, if you go to schoolers and you click on the merch tab, you can see that there's a school cat plush. >> It's there right now. >> You click it. You go here. You can add one of these to your cart. >> You can get it right now. There's 200 available. >> 20 bucks. >> Not bad. >> Pretty good purchase, honestly. >> Very wholesome. Kids love it. Adults love it. >> Here's here's one in in real life >> in the flesh. Look at that. If you ever want to increase your status, get a cat plush. >> Yep. So, that's live on the merch store now. We've got 200 of them. Now, first group to hit 400 grand MR almost. Um, so this is big news. If you go to schoolers, you go to games, you go look at the alltime leaderboards, you look at the money category, there is a young man called Spencer, who is currently the GOAT, right? Spencer Pow. Is that who you say? >> I don't know. >> Okay. Um, $394,000 a month, which is a lot of money. So close. >> I don't think anyone's cracked 400 grand MR before. >> Never. >> So, this will be a first. >> That will be impressive. >> Come on, Spencer. >> You got this. >> And what's cool to see is that school network is driving 25% of that. Now, think about it this way. What's 25% of 400 grand? >> It's $100,000. 100 grand a month from school >> and it cost him 99. >> What's the response? >> I mean, that seems like a pretty insane deal. >> Like a million X or something. >> Um, >> that's crazy. >> So, >> nice work, Spencer. You got it. 6K left. Come on. The final push. >> Well, he only has to drive what, like 1.5 >> or No, we has to drive not the full six cuz we we'll drive the rest. Yeah. Um, >> and hopefully this could could help. >> So, some cool launches. We wanted to try a little This is a little bit different. So, these are some bigger influencers doing cool things that just launched on school. So, this is KA Smith. >> Massive surfer. OG in the space. >> Yep. Very good surfer. And you can see he's rocking his school link and bio. >> Let's go. >> KA Academy. >> Yeah. And this is more about like energy connection, spirituality stuff instead of pure just surfing, which is really cool. >> Very cool to see. Then who's this? >> This is more of a >> teacher. >> You can see he's got his school link in his bio. >> 700K. We get these launches like two, three times a week and we get a little notification when a big creator >> launch group. Interesting. >> And these are just some of them. Every week we get a few of these come through and these are some of the cool ones. This isn't an English coach guy, >> but they should clean up that link. That link is a a pretty messy link. You don't need the end stuff at the end. You'll get more clicks that way. >> Here's another one. >> This one's really cool. Look how many subscribers they have. 18 million subscribers. And if you check their short form, they do a bunch of different dancing videos. I've seen their videos just organically. So then to see them launch on school is very >> Yeah. 18 million subs with the school in Kimbo is legit. >> That's very legit. Do you want to explain the process for how this comes through? Basically, whenever a big creator launches on school, we get a little notification. And we now have a CSM, a customer success manager who's dedicated to helping big creators launch on school. >> Is Mark Novikov. >> He's a young gentleman. He's a young handsome gentleman and he's worked at uh previous companies helping big creators launch. He's very good at it. So if you are a big creator or you know a big creator who wants to launch on school, you can send a little email to markschool.com and he will help you launch. >> What does big mean? >> It depends. It's more based on views than followers. But >> but is it like 100,000 plus subs or something? >> Call it that. Okay, >> cool. We'll help you launch for free on school. >> Yeah. So, oh, what did you do with your glasses? >> I took them off. Why? You want me to put them on? >> I was going to get people to rate Kirby's new glasses. Kirby got these meta glasses. >> Look, I'll record right now. I'm recording. >> Cuz he wants to try recording some videos using these glasses. Rate them out of 10. >> I'm an influencer. >> And then I think that's all we've got to share today. What about the glasses mullet combo? >> You don't have the mullet? >> Yeah, I know. It's growing out now. All right. See you.
