Your goal for the possible exam is a grade of 1. In this video, I showed five tips on how you can achieve that. I 'm a Christian, and it's okay. I'm a long-time English teacher, and on this channel, I want to help you improve your English. We're currently preparing for the final exams, and I've already made several videos on this topic, so you'll find the link below. You're welcome to check them out. And if you're wondering how I can actually help you, I can tell you exactly. I've prepared, administered, and evaluated hundreds of exams over the past few years. I can tell you exactly what to expect and which tips are useful and will ensure that you get the best possible grade, hopefully a 1, from this exam. So don't hesitate any longer and go straight in. One tip: be there immediately. That means when you enter the room, when you sit down, be yourself, make eye contact with the examiner. You signal that you are present. And when he asks a question, warm up. If you ask questions like "How are you today?" or "How are you feeling?", you can respond with a counter-question, for example, "What about you?" or "Good and how are you feeling?" You then show the examiner that you 're the president, and you immediately jump into the conversation with him, which definitely goes down well. Finally, your body language: make sure you're open with your partner and the examiner, and that you have a relaxed posture overall. Just go into this exam relaxed. Now, the foundations for a successful exam are in place, and now we come to tip number two: intonation and intonation. It's very important that you pronounce every word clearly and distinctly so that your partner and the examiner can understand you without any problems. The intonation should also be appropriate. That means when you ask a question, emphasize it at the end, like "What about the young people?" or if you use certain keywords, then emphasize them as well. For example, " Hey, that's great!" So, make sure that the intonation and intonation are always consistent. This aligns with what you say in terms of content. Tip number three: independence. This is absolutely crucial if you want to get a top grade. You should be independent. Specifically, this means not needing any outside help. Neither a partner nor the examiner needs to give you any assistance to help you progress in the communication. You constantly maintain control over what is said and can follow the entire conversation. You also share your own thoughts, express them without being prompted, and simply say what you think about certain topics without being prompted. It comes freely from you. Ultimately, this is very well received: if you convey the impression that you readily take responsibility for the conversation, if you notice that a partner is having difficulties, or if you are in control of the conversation overall, and if you take on a position of responsibility, this demonstrates self-confidence. It shows that you have mastered the language and have no problems speaking freely by, as mentioned, taking as much responsibility as possible and continuously leading the conversation. So, tip number four: clarity and flexibility. And your vocabulary: you should demonstrate a wide range of sentence structures during the exam. This means you can ask questions, you can make statements, you can interrupt, or you can start sentences in the middle of a subordinate clause, or use a variety of sentence beginnings overall, showing that you have a broad repertoire of sentence structures. If you also use these sentence structures correctly and accurately, then the whole thing will seem very coherent, and you will show that you have a certain level of command of the English language. Also, make sure that you make relevant and coherent contributions beforehand that are appropriate to the questions or the topics being discussed. So don't digress; focus on the content and make coherent contributions. And last but not least, nothing is better than using an appropriate and varied vocabulary. So if you find yourself repeatedly using the same words during your exam preparation, look them up in a dictionary or online and build up a small, varied vocabulary for the topics that might come up. That's why I I've also linked some videos for preparation below. Take a look at them here and there. Make sure you prepare your vocabulary and then present a broad range so you can express yourself in a varied way. And the last tip: be communicative. That means speaking fluently and smoothly without long pauses. You're able to have a flowing conversation, which also means you don't need any outside help. You're completely in your element, communicating naturally, and you're able to maintain a smooth conversation the whole time without long pauses. You're present the entire time, even if you can bridge pauses with short interjections, and you're able to maintain this flow of speech at all times. And if you've ever wondered which mistakes you should avoid during the exam, I'll show you in the next video. Until then, your Mister Gay CSU
