because it's so important the SAVE act. You know, it's before right now the Senate, Donald Trump said point blank, if they pass this, quote, it'll guarantee the midterms. I've never heard of legislation that would guarantee the midterms. That is deeply alarming. What can you tell us? What are your concerns about how somehow this will guarantee Republicans winning the midterms? >> Well, you're absolutely right, Dean. He he wants the Save America Act, as it's called, not to require voter identification, but to purge voters from roles in the states. What this act would do is require states to submit information, the private information, that then could be used by the Trump administration to eliminate people from voter roles for all kinds of reasons. Maybe they had some kind of false report of immigration violations or whatever. And there's nothing here that really presents a problem. Non-citizens voting is not a problem. You know, you're you're more likely to be struck by lightning than to find a non-citizen voting. And the point is they're using it to purge voter roles. I obviously because they can't win the election with everybody going to vote if they're registered to vote and properly so and they present identification. Uh you know I'm in favor of identification being required. I do it whenever I vote. I use my driver's license. People have driver's license. Most people don't have the combination of passports and birth certificates. And 69 million women have changed their name. So their birth certificate won't show their present name. So there are all kinds of ways that we're going to be suppressing the vote if this measure is adopted. That's why we're fighting literally all night
