Beautiful mom and beautiful daughter. >> Oh, thank you. >> Okay. What do you have today? >> Um, yeah. So, as I was saying, um, my the gray is getting a lot lot worse. Um, it's kind of taken over. And each time I've suggested that I go lighter to help the gray blend a bit better, I get turned very orange or very streaky. >> And I don't like either of that at all. >> That's pretty good that. Yeah. I' I've just got to the point now where I'm I'm needing to have the color done every 3 weeks. I can't keep with the upkeep. And I just feel like to get to stop them making me orange, I have to keep it quite dark and quite flat. And I don't think that suits my face color tone. So, I feel like it's really harsh against my skin. And I'm just in a bit of a trap really. >> Okay. The fact that you have it dark here >> Yeah. >> anything next to it. >> Yeah. will look orange. Even if you land on an ashier color that's quite a little bit lighter. >> Yeah. >> It will not blend because over here it's brownish. It's quite dark. >> Mhm. >> And the line is quite harsh. >> Yes. >> So this is where preparation for gray blending comes. >> So gray blending is something and preparation for gray blending is something else. >> Right. >> When we say gray blending is when you color the roots with a color. >> Yes. So when your next round of roots comes out, it blends bit with it. >> Yes. >> Preparation for gray blending is when we prepare the whole length >> to a certain level of color. >> Yeah. >> That that's going to complement the new wave of coloring that you're going to be following. >> Okay. >> Which is going to complement the newer growth. >> Okay. So, in order for me to give you a color that's going to work with your gray today and in the future, I have to prepare all that first. >> Yeah. >> Because whatever I do here, it's not going to work with that one. >> Yeah. Sure. >> Now, when the hair is fragile like yours and it's not that dark, I know it might look brown, but it doesn't look that dark for me. >> Okay. Um, I would prefer to focus on the surface and around the face and keep the dark inside. >> Okay, >> this is one approach. >> Yeah. >> The second approach, it's more like a full bleach, but I consider it safe, an easy way to get out of this problem in one in one go. The full bleach might sound scary, but full bleach is sometimes safier than doing partial bleach. Tell me why. Cuz when I do full bleach, I have full control of the time and I have full speed. >> You can do it really quickly. >> I in 10 minutes the bleach comes in. We wait for 10 minutes and we wash. So within 20 minutes, 30 minutes maximum, we finish application and washing at the same time. >> When we do the first option where I kind of select certain parts and I lighten them, then select the the color is not 100% perfect. You still have the dark in between everywhere. >> Mhm. >> And we ended up leaving by the time we process and we select things, you will notice even if the first option, >> we're the quickest you will ever see in any salon on earth. like literally because we've done that thousands of times. >> Okay. >> But if I can manage to to lighten your hair in 10 minutes, that's even the ultimate speed for me. >> Okay. >> So, it's all about speed and accuracy. >> With the second option, when I do the full bleach, I have full speed and accuracy at the same time. >> We bleach the hair. We get rid of everything dark. Then we have a beautiful canvas to paint the color that we want. >> Okay. Yeah, I get that. >> Now we are done with the preparation for gray blending. >> Mhm. >> I will color the roots with something that's not covering the gray 100%. This is something that it has to come from you as well to accept that when I finish my color >> and I >> and you check your hand at the light, you're going to still see a reflection of gray. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. But that's the only way to get you prepared for the next roots. Cuz if you do full gray coverage, even if it's light, it's still going to leave a mark. It's going to leave a line when you have a regrow. >> So the whole point is not to cover the gray 100%. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't want to I don't want to um look gray, but I don't mind seeing the gray blending through. Is that >> So, yeah. So, that's what you're saying. I'll still see some gray, >> but it won't be a >> it's not going to be white gray like that. >> Yeah. Okay. >> You have to always think that even if you reach a color that you feel like, hey, the roots looks a little bit gray for me or I can >> This is something adjustable. I can apply the color one more time and give you a little bit more coverage. But the biggest job is always here, not there. >> Yeah, sure. Here we're we're painting on a white canvas where I can select anything and and apply it. It will work. It will look good. >> Okay. >> The big job is is blending whatever work I'm going to do here. >> Yeah. >> With whatever I'm preparing through the lens. >> Yeah. Yeah. I understand that. >> Make sense? >> Yeah. >> Now, this is a job that has to be done one time >> and you never go back to dark. >> Yeah. >> Because you you need to be ready that this gray is going to be there for years to come. >> Yeah. >> Hopefully, it will not increase. But it might increase. So you need to be ready for that. >> All right. >> When we bleach the hair, the hair already not in the best condition. The bleach will make it more dry. >> Yeah. >> So this is where our antifreeze treatment comes. We bleach. We remove all the darkness. We treat the hair first >> to bring it to a healthy condition. >> Yeah. >> The treatment does two things for me. It helps to lift the color as well a little bit more after bleach. >> Yeah. and it recover the effect of the damage. >> Okay, >> we wash. Then we come back and we do the finishing color. >> Okay, >> after we do the finishing color, always first first time looks a little bit warmer. >> But the minute you repeat the color one more time, >> yeah, >> the warmth through the lens >> gets better and better. Okay. >> This repeated color, it could be done within a week if you're in Dubai. >> You staying to visit your daughter for a while or >> um I'm going home on Saturday cuz I've already been here a while. This is the first appointment I could get. >> Okay. So, what's today? Today is Tuesday. >> Tuesday. >> So, we either repeat it. Sometimes I repeat it the same day. It just need 5 minutes. >> Yeah. >> Not much. So either repeat the same day if if you're not going to be here for a while or I give you the color and I tell you listen after a week, two weeks do it one more time. Leave it for 5 minutes then you're good to go. >> Okay? >> And you repeat the same process for maybe a couple of times every 2 months. >> Yeah. >> Till any reflection of warmth >> keep coming because that that the orange feeling >> it comes from years of undertone that's been built up in your own hair. It's scary with the bleach the that option, but I feel like that's probably I've just got to do just make that step and do it. So, what color am I going to be looking? Like, how much lighter is this going? >> After I lighten, I will be able to see how it's reflecting on your skin. The both colors you selected are good. >> Is that what you would have selected though, don't you? >> Yes. If you open our social media, it will show you. She was even much darker. >> Okay. Yeah. >> First time. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> This is was right when she left the salon. >> Yeah. >> And this is after 1 week. >> Ah, okay. >> So, this gives you an indication on how like and she was much darker than you. >> So, sometimes you you would be able to leave the salon with this. Sometimes warmer and lighter. >> Okay. >> But we can control it. >> Yeah. >> But they're both beautiful. >> Yeah. >> So, there's no risk in in landing on any of them. Okay. >> It's just a matter of taste. And both of them, they're going to be so different from what you do usually. >> So, it's going to be always a bit of shocking the first two weeks. >> Yeah. >> Then you'll be able to adjust it a little bit warmer, little bit more ashier. >> Okay. >> I think a little bit warmer will look good on you. >> Yeah. >> But if you're too sensitive to warmer colors, now you're sensitive to warmer colors because you're comparing this with that. >> Yeah. >> But trust me, when the whole thing is warm, you're going to love the warmth. >> Okay. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Um, one other thing, I don't know if it makes a difference to you. Um, but, um, my hair's never been thick ever, but it was I had a lot more hair than this. And I lost a lot of my hair because I had, um, I've got a a bone marrow um, issue and so I had to have a lot of treatment for it. And I lost a lot of my hair then, but it's it's grown back really well. But to make it stay growing, I have to put minoxidil on my hair every day. 5% a mousse. >> Okay. When when's when did you start ammonil? >> So 2020. >> And you haven't stopped since then? >> No. >> Okay. I need you to touch the roots, please, and touch here. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> If it's a hair fall, you're not going to see that. >> What do you mean? Sorry. Means if the if it's a hair fall or hair is not thick enough >> you're going to notice that the roots are thin as well >> right >> when I'm touching your roots you got a thick roots >> okay >> means whatever it's you think it is it's this is breakage and I can tell >> there's a lot of lot of breakage >> that's breakage not >> that's breakage that's not her fault it has nothing to do with medication >> your roots like quite thick >> if this look at this it's literally minimum totally different >> minimum five times more than the middle part. >> Okay. >> This tells me that your hair is breaking the minute it reaches this spot. >> And with the with the need to kind of style it all the time, >> it's kind of >> making the hair break much faster. >> Okay. >> So, the treatment we're going to do for you, it's going to help to seal the hair as much as possible. >> Right. >> I will need to cut whatever it needs. >> Yeah. Maybe on the top I will speed up the recovery by cutting a good amount of dots. >> Okay. Yeah. >> But I think if the speed of breakage slows down. >> Yeah. >> The speed of growth will the speed of growth will catch up. >> Okay. >> Soon speed of growth is faster than speed of breakage. Within a year you're going to have thickness and length. >> But as long as ends keep on breaking, it will never >> make it through. >> Yeah. You feel like your hair is always the same lens over and over and over. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, this is a positive thing. >> Yeah. >> Think about it in that way. >> The textures when I fix it today, hopefully you won't need to do much styling. >> Yeah. >> And then hopefully within a year, you're going to tell me, you know what, my hair never felt as thick, never felt this healthy. The color is good. I have low maintenance. I'm not bothered with the gray anymore. And the color really works well on my skin. >> Okay, >> sounds good. >> We we'll get you there. >> Thank you. >> Sounds good. >> Yeah. >> Do you have a plan? >> Think so. >> Okay. Let me give you the breakdown the price. >> Thank you. >> Then we'll go from there. >> Okay. All right. Thanks. Thanks very much. Thank you. Not bad. >> You know the way why I'm thinking a video? >> Cuz I'm I'm thinking copper in the future would look good on you. Like now I'm going to >> Okay. >> I'm just going to try to give you a clean color without any copper. But I think it would work on you to shift your copper in the future. >> Okay. You got the light skin, blue eyes. Not this this is too light but rich copper look beautiful. >> Okay. >> So this is after bleach. We haven't done the roots yet or the length. >> I will color the roots and remove the effect of the the previous uh orange from the head and we go from there. >> Okay. >> Or keep the >> No, thank you. Okay, let's get your edit. Yeah, the purple color. >> Can see me? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> What do you think? >> Yeah, it's lovely. >> Good. >> Yeah. >> Can recognize yourself or no? >> Sorry. No, >> I can't recognize so >> I mean going from that dark is always a big change. >> Yeah, sure. But I think I think instantly your skin lit up. >> Your eyes. >> I mean, I noticed your eyes before, but now they're like they're talking to me, which is great. That's that's a sign that the color is doing its magic. >> And I'm really happy next time if we can take you even more copper. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Uh I think with your light skin, if we push even more richer copper. >> Yeah. >> Today was to be a shock if I would push you. So >> Okay. >> I will let you sit and think about this idea. Okay. But going copper will look really amazing on you. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> How's the texture after all this bleach? >> Oh, it feels amazing. I think it's better than before. >> Better than before. >> Like I was even struggling to blow dry it and this is bleached hair. So this is what people they underestimate when we do full bleach. >> Yeah. >> And we have control that. Okay. Bleach comes in and comes out as as quick as we can. And usually when we do it, we do it on uh on wet hair like if you so that actually stops the hair from heating up. >> Okay. >> So that's why after we put the bleach, we move you there, we start adding some water to it. So we don't allow it actually to heat up. >> It was all very quick. >> Yes. When you don't allow the hair to heat up, it doesn't get burnt. >> Okay. >> Then the treatment comes and fix all the effect and bam. >> Yeah. >> Lens, I kept it quite long. >> Yeah. Put your hand through. Feel it. Don't be scared. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Let's capture the color. I need you to stand up. Please look at the sign. Please lava. Hello. I'm going to just focus on the roots. Let me Yes. Okay. Did you see the roots, by the way? >> Yeah. You can see little bit of reflection of gray. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, this is this is should feel more comfortable when you have the roots growing. Hold the mirror, please. >> See them now in the light. >> Mhm. >> So, you can tell they're not covered much, only a little bit. >> But imagine when >> the contrast is just >> they blend instantly with the color that we have done today. >> Exactly. >> Imagine in 3 4 weeks when this one washes out a little bit. >> Okay. Okay. So, the gray will start looking more visible on the colored area. >> Okay. >> So, it's ready to connect with the new gray. >> New gray. >> So, the line will not look as strong as before. >> Okay. >> And this is the first time we color the hair. So, the color is not even as rich. You will notice the more we color it, the richer it gets. >> Okay. >> Okay. I need to turn. Let me capture from the back. Yes. >> Yeah. It's super soft. One more time. I need you to just look at the side. Look down. Yes. That's it. Beautiful. >> Yeah, definitely looks much better on your skin. >> Yeah. >> Right. Ready to rock it with a new life. Thank you. You look amazing and thank you for making it. I >> Oh, no. No. It's been a long time coming, but yeah, it's just easier now with coming more regularly to your daughter here. >> Yeah, we'll keep improving. >> Exactly. >> Thank you. You're welcome. You're welcome. >> Thank you so much. Thank you.
