Cases of digital and cyber fraud are increasing rapidly in India. According to the data, scams worth Rs 1500 to 2000 crore are being seen every month. Keeping this in view, the Reserve Bank of India has suggested three major changes. Number one, now if you make any UPI transaction of more than Rs 10,000, then that transaction will not be settled instantly but will be settled after a cooling off period of 1 hour. So the money will be debited from the sender's account but the bank will hold it for an hour. This is because if you feel that you have made a payment to the wrong place or you have been defrauded, you can stop that payment within an hour. Number two, there is going to be an extra protection for senior citizens. Senior citizens can add a nominee to their account. So if any senior citizen makes a transaction of more than Rs 500, then that transaction will no longer be processed without the approval of the nominee. Number three, if money is being continuously debited from your account, it means you realize that some fraud is happening with you, then you can immediately stop your bank account. Meaning there will be a switch off button through which you can immediately stop your bank account, UPI account. So send this video to everyone who uses UPI and tell them about these changes.
