Make your own AI assistant without coding using ESP32-S3. Watch till the end. As you can see, this is a simple breadboard. This is a 0.96-in OLED display based on the SSD1306 driver using I2C communication. Here we have the MAX98357 I2S audio amplifier module, which provides clear digital audio output. This is the INMP441 I2S microphone used for accurate voice input. For sound output, I'm using a basic 8-ohm 1-W speaker. The main controller is the Waveshare ESP32-S3-0, a compact and powerful microcontroller with built-in USB and AI capabilities. And finally, a simple push button for control. All the connections are clearly shown on your screen. Just follow them step-by-step. If you get stuck anywhere, drop a comment below. Since detailed wiring can make the video too long, I've kept it simple. Now let's fix all the modules onto the breadboard as per the connections. First, place the ESP32-S3 on the breadboard like this and secure it properly. Next, mount the microphone. Make sure to check the orientation carefully. Now insert the female headers like this to keep the display stable. After that, place the I2S speaker module in the correct position. While making connections, always be careful. Even a single wrong wire can cause the device to stop working. Now connect the OLED display to the header pins. Next, connect the speaker wires to the MAX98357A I2S audio module, which is placed on the breadboard. Then attach the speaker like this. Also, connect a wake-up button to GPIO 13. And that's it. The hardware setup is complete. Now let's move on to the software section. Now go to tandev.click and close the pop-up message. Next, select the free AI chatbot option. Choose your board. In my case, it's the ESP32-S3-0 and click okay. Then install. Connect your board to the PC, select the correct COM port, and click install again. Now wait until it reaches 100%. And that's it. Half of the work is done. Now open your Wi-Fi settings and look for the Zauzi network. Connect to the Zauzi network. After that, open Google Chrome and enter the IP address shown on your screen in the search bar. Now pay close attention. These settings are important. Otherwise, the display won't work. Go to device config and select the correct board. In my case, it's the ESP32-S3-0 with a 0.96-in OLED. Most settings will be configured automatically. Next, select the language as English. You can take a screenshot if needed. For the wake-up button, I'm using GPIO 13. You can choose according to your setup. Now click save settings. After that, enter your Wi-Fi ID and password to connect to your network. And that's it. About 90% of the work is done. Now we need to connect the device to the server. First, go to zauzi.me and open the website. Click on add device. When you power on your device, a six-digit code will appear. Enter that code here. Next, set up your AI assistant. Enter a name.
