Whatever remains of the mince were there, we had spread it on the bed and had placed potatoes under it. To increase tilling, we cut its upper leaves with a sickle. And after this, in the second line, you will see three crops growing together on the bed. There is turmeric, chilli and brinjal. We have reached Nisurkha village in Bulandshahr to the house of Sanjeev Kumar ji, who has been doing natural farming for the last 15 years. Our turmeric is at second place and our brinjal is at second place. The matter has been settled. The trees are very small but right now it is less visible on some, so look here it is, there is a very small plant of chilli, its principle of natural farming is that the farmer needs money daily in his house, so now our chilli has started coming, it will take a month or so when brinjals will start coming, then our daily income from half an acre will start coming around Rs. 1000-1500 and one special thing in this is that we are saving a lot of water in this, that is, we save 80% water, so the potatoes that we grow for eating, Shailesh ji, whatever was the residue of millet, we had put it on the bed and we had put potatoes below it. Do not bury the potatoes in the ground. Place them on both sides of the bed and mulch them. Potato production is tremendous, there is no need to dig the potatoes, and just like folding a calendar, take out the potatoes on the mulching and in the same way remove the mulching and take out the potatoes and then place the mulching again on it. That year we planted cucumber, gourd, melon, watermelon etc. in it. That means we did not plough or weed the field for two years. We don't have to go to the market. No need to go to the market to buy seeds. In which neem leaves are placed. It requires only your hard work and I would appeal to the farmers that the day you start giving even 4 hours to your farm, you will make farming a very profitable business. We have been working on this model for the last eight years to find out how much income it will generate per acre. In this model, we keep doing some new research and changing it according to our climate. Like some other variety of sugarcane was planted. This time, we planted brinjals many years ago, so this time we have also planted chillies in it. So, the principle is that this sugarcane, in this model we get approximately 150 to 180 quintals per acre. Because we have not been giving sugarcane to any mill for the last 15 years. Suppose it is 15 quintals of jaggery. And last year we sold 15 quintals of jaggery at the rate of ₹150 per kg. And if we talk about its value addition, if we make turmeric jaggery then it would be sold for ₹200 per kg. If we made Moringa, it would be sold for ₹300 per kg. But we are talking about 150. It turned out to be worth ₹25 lakh. If we talk about raw turmeric, then 25 to 30 quintals of raw turmeric is produced. And if we talk about it, one quintal of raw turmeric produces 20 kg of finished powder. Now ₹500 per kg. Now you do it with this. 5 * 6 = 30 i.e. our turmeric powder is worth Rs 3 lakh. That means ₹5 lakh from one acre, now you will say that the expenditure for one year comes to ₹2025000 and whatever expenses they incur are covered by this. It will start giving us earnings of around ₹500 to ₹1000 per day after 15 days to one month. Sanjeev ji, once we would like to know the distance between lines and how wide are the beds in sugarcane ? At what distance are the plants planted for other crops? Explain the complete model once. Sugarcane to sugarcane 42 inches, sugarcane to brinjal 42 inches and brinjal to sugarcane 42 inches. That means the distance between each line is 42 inches and a 1 1/2 feet drain is made between the 42 inches and in the middle this becomes our bed of approximately 2 1/2 to 3 feet. So this is its principle and the brinjal that we have planted, we have planted it straight at about 8-8 feet and in between 8-8 feet there are three-four chilli plants. And sitting on both sides, we have applied turmeric on one foot each. And we have placed one eye on each sugarcane at one foot. Our seeds require about two and a half to three quintals per acre. Well, this is one model of yours and you have another model which is just turmeric with sugarcane, so what is there in it, do you understand? Yes, we have calculated the distance in it like this, there are two lines of sugarcane, each 2 feet long, at every 4 feet. There is 8 feet left in the middle and two lines of turmeric in that 8 feet. How does the production therein make a difference ? The production becomes a little more wasteful in that because the number of trillings in it increases further. The gap is a little bit more. You have just seen a model of intercropping in natural farming at Sanjeev ji's farm and now we are going to show you another model because this farm is no less than a laboratory. New experiments are carried out here and this is the experiment we are showing you now. In this, the sugarcane leaves have been cut from the top. Sanjeev ji, please tell the reason behind this. The reason behind this is that you can see in this field, we had planted moong on the bed and we had sown this sugarcane in the standing wheat. Shailesh ji, this field has not been vacant since we sowed wheat in October and it has not been vacant since then, so wheat was planted, then sugarcane was planted, in February on 20th February we planted sugarcane, then we planted urad and moong in it, after breaking the urad and moong we ploughed it, now after weeding and removing all its straw, we saw that we did this experiment 6 years ago on Rambhog paddy, we did this to remove more tilling in it. He got good results in that. I did not do it on the entire field, I did it on a small part. But now we have this sugarcane, this sugarcane 9814 is a variety which the farmers have rejected. I would say it failed. But this sugarcane is like this, I will tell this to my farmer brothers also. There is no disease in this. Its jaggery is of very good quality. So to increase tilling in it, we cut its upper leaves with a sickle. That is, what we did was that we caught it in this manner and cut it like this. If you look carefully, we had cut this leaf from here and it has been about four to five days since this work was done and you can see that it has grown by more than one inch and now I would also like to show you these two lines which we have left in the entire middle of the field so that we can do a comparative study of it that what was the percentage of tilling in the cane which we had cut and what was the number of sugarcane points per tilling in the cane which was not cut, how many days ago was it cut and was there any effect on them because of that? We have to do about 2 to 3% of new tilling in this, so I think the tilling time is coming to an end. But I think that in 15 days we will definitely make a profit of 25 to 30%. So that's why we have cut it. ₹5 lakh an acre, so this is it. And if we add all the other vegetables, then how much will it cost? If we take the average of all the crops like wheat from one acre , then it will not be less than ₹3 lakh. If you tell me the net profit number, I would like to tell you the number 94156 3590. Thank you very much. You listened to Sanjeev ji here and see the wonderful model of farming, how natural farming is done in the right way, you also learned this today. Shailesh Arora Gaon Junction.
