Season 16, Real House Eyes in New York. You are a new member of the cast. Take me back to the beginning, though. How did this come to be? Is this something that you saw yourself being a part of? I don't Does anyone like know that they're going to be a part of the Housewives? I don't know. But I am good friends with Jessel and Jessel had reached out to me um and asked me if I, you know, would think about doing Housewives and I said, you know, I'll think about it. And um that's kind of how I got brought on and I know Daisy and Carol and so it felt like the right the right fit >> this season on the Real Housewives of New York City. >> OH SH so we got a little teaser. The trailer has dropped. What do you think is something viewers are going to maybe misunderstand about you right off the bat? have me talking about how Gucci is expensive. >> Gucci's not expensive. >> Gucci is expensive. >> She acts more frugal than you do. And she's the billionaire. >> It is. I mean, I don't know what that says about me, but it is expensive. So, you know, I'm just saying the truth. >> Y >> um what else did it have in there about me now? I'm thinking about it. Well, the billionaire, but a lot of you know that I I mean, as a couple, I guess you could say that about us, but I personally am not the billionaire. Um, my husband, I guess you could say, is so as a couple we are. But just let it out there that, you know, we see in the trailer like you were saying you were particular about money despite again knowing this access to this like this wealth. Who do you think between the two of you is the more conservative one in the relationship when it comes to money >> or who's like spiring? For sure. Me, >> I I like find so many deals on shopping. Like anytime I'm online shopping, I'm like whatever. It's Bloomingdal's discount code. I'm like googling it trying to find a discount code. Um I you'll see love to shop on Amazon. Like you know, I'm just I think you just you can find good things and it doesn't have to be >> the tiptop most expensive things always. >> Yep. I need to know what was your reaction the first time that you saw a headline describing yourself as a billionaire. What like okay I mean normally like I feel like seeing that I was like that one was inaccurate but then when I say that everyone's like well my husband was like kind of like you are we we're we're one. What's mine is yours what's yours is mine. I was like that is right actually and what's mine is mine. So what was it like for you to I mean step into into that world? >> Um you know I come from Waco, Texas and so I come from a small I call it a small town or small city large town >> and um I grew up you know middle class and I think stepping into this world is just it's a different it's a different light. We have different access to things. I'm just always very grateful for every opportunity that comes my way, our way as a couple. And um I think both of us sit down at night, Encore and I, and sometimes we're like, "Wow, that was one of the coolest dinners we've ever been to." And we just like take everything in day by day and like are so grateful for the things that we are exposed to, you know? >> And you were able to What was that like to get to like share that and offer that peak to the fans through this show? Were you able to share what that lifestyle looks like? I hope so. I think so. I think I did. I mean, you got to see that um we took the girls to um Mosquito Island, which is our family's private island that we share with seven other families. And so that was very exciting. That's one of my happy places that I get to go to. And um it was exciting to take the girls there. >> Well, we saw some drama happening on the island in the trailer. Did you Were you aware that all of that was going down? >> Honestly, no. No. So, you know, time will tell. I guess I got to watch the episodes and see what else is said about it. But, >> you know, a lot of people have been there and all my friends go there and they love it. So, >> yeah, >> if you don't love it, you don't have to go back. You might not be invited back. This looks like the leftovers from lunch. >> Daisy, you can take yourself off this private island, take yourself to McDonald's. >> What was that like for you? Because obviously, you know, you shoot the show, then there's confessionals, then you watch it back. So, then you're privy to a lot more information than you had at the time. What do you think that's going to be like for you stepping into this and being able to go back and relive those memories now with added context from these other other people? >> It's crazy cuz it's normally when people talk about you behind your back, you don't ever really know about it. This you fully know and so does the rest of the world. So, I think it's going to be so interesting and I think it's just going to shine light on um a lot of people's characters. >> And now tell me about you. Are you What is your conflict style? Are you are you direct? Do you avoid conflict? What does that look like for you? >> I normally avoid conflict. >> I normally hate conflict. However, >> I have been learning that in a relationship, you need to address conflict. You need to communicate. And I feel like I've grown from who I was 2 years ago to now. >> Anything that's like, you know, in my relationship with my husband, we're I address it's like cuz then you squash it and then it's done. >> Exactly. And that's on growth. That's hard to do. Yes. >> But so I'm normally not a conflict person, but if there's something that's really bothering me, I am now direct about it because otherwise it's going to like bubble up and it's just going to boil inside of me and then it's going to explode and that's never any good. >> And do you feel like this kind of like gave you that freedom and that power to do that? I mean cuz you're with some other people that are they they don't mind conflict. >> I think to say the least. >> I think I learned a lot. Like it was it was good for me because I had to have conflict. I feel like I tend to try and not have that much conflict in my life. So, I'm like, "Oh, there's conflict every day." Okay, great. Great. God is testing me. >> What would you say is the most surprising thing you learned doing a show like this? >> I feel like sometimes who you think are your friends may not be. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, that feels like a little precursor to what we're going to see this season. >> Yeah. >> Wow. Okay. So, we do you feel like you made some new good friends, but maybe >> you lost some potentially. I don't know. >> We don't know. We don't We're going to find out. >> It's a surprising season. >> People are so invested in you and your relationship and you guys have a really cute meat cute story. Can you tell us how you met your husband? >> Yes. He was a client of mine. He used to come to my Rumble boxing class and he wasn't acquaintance. He came all the time. He was on my VIP list. So I would call him out and I'd be like, "Inor, you're really hitting that bag. So great." His name is Encore. I just would called him the wrong name for two years. And he never told me. >> He never corrected me. >> Never corrected me. >> And um then a few years later, we kind of reconnected and we were both taking a workout class together and he asked me out after. >> But who made the first move? Were you like, "Wait, are you from my class or was he like trying to like get next to you in the >> Oh, he was trying to get next. He like asked someone to move off the treadmill and I was like my face is like blasted like on the treadmill. I'm like uh cuz it was promoting promoting my work there. I was like no sir that's your treadmill. He's like no no no can you please move like she needs to work out here. The guy was like yeah sure. >> Oh my god. Amazing. So he was going after what he wanted. He was waiting for the right time >> cuz I'm like what you want to show me your bicep curls next to me? I was like okay good good luck buddy. Somehow he still passed. But yeah, he asked me out to drinks after that and I didn't know it was a date to be honest. I just said yeah because I thought it was >> What did you think? You're like we're just going to hang like >> I thought I thought we like ran in the same circle. I don't know. It didn't seem like romantic. So I was like yeah sure like we'll grab drinks like I don't know. We're not in the same business. So I don't know what I thought but >> I eventually found out it was a date >> eventually. Yep. So from that date was it like uh after that you guys were in several or was it a slow burn? It was it was slow. We went on a few dates and then co happened >> and in co he went to his family's house in the BBI and I went to my parents house in the Bahamas and we talked every single day facetimed for 3 months and then he came back to New York and he was like you should come back too. Fitness was closed for like six more months. I was like my guy there's nothing for me in New York and he was like I'm here and I was like okay well if I come back we're dating and he was like okay. And so I came back on July 16th, 2020 and we started dating. >> Wow. And then how long were you guys before? >> Yeah. And then how long were you guys dating before you got engaged? >> Um we got engaged in 2022. So for 2 years. >> Wow. And then married in 20. >> Yeah. Two years. >> And that wedding is unbelievable. I mean when you think back to that to that. >> Literally my the peak of my existence. I'm like where do you go for >> all of ours too? We're all living vicariously. We saw the dress. Okay. What do you remember most about that time? >> Oh my god. Um, it was truly We were just looking at photos the other day and I was like, can we relive this? Like just being with our closest friends and family and sharing these one-ofa-kind experiences with them was just you can't match it. >> Yeah. >> Like we we did a pre-wedding um trip with some of our friends to a safari and then which was my first time ever on a safari and so I was already like, "Oh my god, adrenaline from a lion." But I'm like, "Oh, this is awesome." My wedding party, how exciting. So much going on. And then the um wedding in Egypt was three or four days long, too, with, you know, another 70 of our closest friends and family. So, it was just spending that much time with people we love and doing really really cool experiences with them. >> Okay. And we've we heard about your fitness career. And then tell me about WWE. So, you did something really interesting here. >> 12 years ago, I was with WWE and their developmental program NXT. I was a diva. My name was Veronica Lane. Uh, I was a beauty queen. That was my alter ego. And I was a heel. >> Oh my god. >> And when I went in there, I was like, I don't know how to be nice and slap someone. Like I I feel like you have to be mean when you're like slapping someone. So, I became a natural heel. >> Wow. The journey. Do you feel like that prepared you for the housewives in some way? >> Honestly, yes. I actually was telling someone the other day that there's so many parallels with WWE and alter egos and the housewives. I'm like there's so much drama here and like maybe the you know on the WWE side it's a little produced drama but I'm like it the like the drama is exaggerated like on both levels. I was like that that fake drama prepared me for this crazy drama over here >> and obviously we get the drama that we know and love but we really see some like emotional moments. We get a glimpse into your fertility journey. Can you tell me a little bit about why that was important for you to share with the audience? Yeah, I think um you know Anker and I are in our family planning stage of life and I wanted to share all parts of our life and that's our biggest thing right now. um you know we want kids and a couple years ago I found out that I wasn't be able to carry my own and so we are having a surrogate and it was important for me to share that because like I said that is just a part of our life and I wanted to open up my life to viewers and I think the surrogacy journey there's a lot of um backlash on and I wanted to open up you know the positive light and aspect of surrogacy What's like the timeline looking like? Is that something that that you're you're talking about and sharing? >> Yeah, we're we're trying. Um there's a lot that goes into it. So, we're going to do a next round and hopefully in the next month or two um we can do another transfer and fingers crossed. Um you know, hopefully we would love we would love a child so anytime soon. So, you know, when the time is right, we know that there's a reason for everything and it'll work out. Did you always want a like a lot of kids, a big family? >> We I come from I'm one of four. AR's one of three. We definitely knew we wanted a boy and a girl. >> Okay. Yeah, >> that's what we that's what we have said. Okay, two for sure are boy and a girl. I'm like, what about a third? He's like, we don't even have one yet. Like, let's just figure it out. Um, but I think we we love family. We love our families. We love our siblings and being close with them. So, it's definitely important. Oh, >> I can't wait for summer, even though I only have five good summers left. >> Yes. Oh my god, you're wearing the Jerger. >> Can we do some season superlatives? Rapid fire. >> Oh, okay. Who do you think is the MVP of this season? >> Ah, Carol. >> Oh, okay. Why do you say Carol? >> Carol brings a lot to it and she's just a good vibe. >> She's a good vibe. >> I love that. >> But she also is direct. That's her point. >> Yes. Who is the biggest potter? >> Daisy. M. Oh, you didn't hesitate on that one. You knew. Okay. Who is the biggest girls girl? >> Haley. >> Oh, really? Okay. What makes you say that? >> Haley was a close friend. Someone I could confide in. Um, someone that had my back. >> Okay. Who is the most two-faced? This one's tough. >> I feel like I need >> Okay. Why do you say that? >> Oh, no. They're all going to come for me after this. I'm going to hide. We're starting before it even airs. Um, you'll have to see. Okay. Okay. But, but that one didn't seem like a hesitation either. I feel like you >> No. Who was the biggest surprise for you? >> Also, Haley. Haley. because I I didn't know her and I think um I wouldn't have thought honestly like that she was going to be like the nicest human ever and just so kind. >> O who was the biggest disappointment? >> Daisy. No elaboration. Okay. Okay. Any any anything to add to that? Just we're going to see that play. >> You see glimpses of it in the trailer. She's already talking about my house for no reason. >> Guys, there's aing lotion here. >> She thinks that she is Martha. >> I'm hosting you. I love hosting. >> You have a hidden talent. >> I love you. >> What can fans expect from this season? What are you most excited for them to see? >> I think it's going to be an amazing season. There is a lot of drama. Like a lot. Um, but there is a lot of good times. There's a lot of crying. I mean, I'm like already like everyone's like check, check, check, check, check. Great. >> Sounds like a perfect season. >> A lot of surprises, too. I feel like there's a lot of surprising things that happen.
