children's books provide an extraordinary opportunity for children to see the language in a What is inaction is done in or language that becomes a unity of the story unity then psychologists need Stories psychologists eh convey the belief that children need stories legends then folk tales fair the up is very necessary for them that fosters eh knowledge about history fosters knowledge about folk tales before them know where they come from and as interesting stories and delivered in an interesting way it will attract the attention of children also Prov a h Space for Fantasy and creativity the stories are also interesting and delivered in an interesting way so it becomes an interesting story so it is not interesting when delivered by someone who can't deliver the story well Likewise with eh the story must be good too When delivered by someone when the story is of good quality then delivered in a quality way it will be fantastic and provide space for children to eh fantasize and strengthen creativity the stories can ee be connected or have a connection with English related to eh other things other fields related to the curriculum J as much as possible the story delivered in the learning is as enrichment in the material so it is related to the material so it is not only delivering an interesting story But the story must be related to the curriculum syllabus or learning material delivered that is taught by the teacher then asasies inach J there are several reasons why the story is effective to be used in language teaching to okay yes Ee the reasons include being able to provide motivation to students students become motivated especially the story There are moral messages that eh that provide motivational messages to students, students will be motivated, there are motivations in their lives, e, motivation is very important in the learning process, yes, when children have strong motivation in learning, then learning will be easy and their achievements will increase, motivation, both internal and external, motivation can be internal motivation, it will also appear when getting motivational input through stories by the teacher himself, so he mawak with then meaning, there is a message there, the message of meaning contained in the story so that it becomes eh, an indirect moral message, meaning that when children get the story, they don't feel like they're being lectured, they don't feel like this, you know, you have to do this, like this, but indirectly, the teacher tells a story but actually gives input, gives advice without being patronizing to then the story is also effective because there are eh, giving examples of fluency tires, fluency, if the child then practices to retell the story they heard, it will train their language fluency, their fluency, then there is language awareness, language awareness, ee, from the stories that are conveyed, there will be vocabulary, there is vocabulary that is there And that then strengthens the stories How to choose stories what kind of stories need to be for children so Children's interest and experience so take stories that are related to what students like by children and related to ee personal experiences experiences that they usually experience in everyday life it will be interesting and related to their lives that have been what they have lived yes not too What is it outside of the children are villagers are used to things related to the village but then told something very different from their lives it usually does not give them a high interest in the story then adjust it to the language level of children at this age you also need to know what the child's language ability level is like when it is Advanced yes use an advanced story when it is new eh eh what is it eh beginner then the language used is very simple so that children because they are beginners Then they also understand ee slowly that's using very simple language but also delivered very clearly then try to adjust it to their age their age with this age What they usually do what they are doing what they are learning in class can be adjusted so we have to pay attention to things like that when choosing a story then what techniques can we use in teaching through storytelling story reading read if it's reading or speaking slowly and clearly slowly and clearly the pronunciation eh what is the intonation must be clear then ee what is the speed the volume make sure that what we convey in telling the story is also heard by the children at the back so make sure our voice ee not too loud but can be heard clearly by the children at the back even then eh we can vary the speed when when eh When we tell the story it's a little bit faster but but clearly but the main thing is slowly and can be understood What you convey then eh once in a while there is also time there is a little time when there is an ed then the child will ee pay attention to you again why stop why there is a Jed Why the language is also with that time with iceaking in between ice breaking breakers deadlock then G and mind When you tell a story use to strengthen the story you convey Besides using slow and clear words also use gestures by using hands using facial expressions sad Like what happy Like what eh laughing Like what or eh someone who is cynical I don't like SpongBob sponge like that so that it is clear
