He spent the entire year taking care of it, watering the plants, pruning the branches, removing weeds, and protecting the trees from insects and disease. Every month, the farmer went to the garden with his young son to harvest the fruits. They happily picked apples, peaches, and berries. Later, they sold the fruits in the local market and earned money to support their family. One peaceful morning, while the farmer was reaching for a shiny red apple, he noticed something wrong. When he looked there, the farmer saw a monkey was sitting on the tree branch. The monkey was happily munching on the fruits and eat them comfortably as if the garden belonged to him. The farmer was shocked and angry. "Hey, you! What are you doing on my tree?" he shouted. "Don't you know it's wrong to steal?" The monkey paused, looked at the farmer for a moment, and then calmly continued eating the fruits. The farmer shouted again. I have cared for these trees all year. You have no right to take my fruits without permission. Come down this instant. The monkey replied from the tree. Why should I come down? This is the garden of God and I am the servant of God. I have the right to pick these fruits. You should not interfere with the work of God and his servant. The farmer was very surprised by this answer. But he quickly thought of a plan. He politely asked the monkey to come down from the tree. I promise I will not harm you. As soon as the monkey climbed down, the farmer tied him to the tree and began beating him with a stick. The monkey screamed, "Why are you beating me? You have no right to do this." The farmer paid no attention and continued beating him. The monkey cried again, "Don't you fear God? You are beating an innocent servant of God." The farmer replied calmly, "Why should I fear? This stick in my hand belongs to God and I am also the servant of God. You should not interfere with the work of God and his servant. The monkey hesitated, understood his mistake and then said, "Please don't beat me. I am sorry for taking the fruits. This is your garden, and I should have asked your permission. Please forgive me and set me free. The farmer smiled and said, "Never use God's name to justify your wrong actions."
